Ch 104: Side Story Of Mayank

At Ankur's home, Mayank came to visit Charmy. "I am sorry Charmy. I didn't come to your marriage"

Charmy said "It's alright Mayank. I am glad you came here to visit me"

Mayank asked "Where is Ankur?"

"He went outside to meet photographer to get our marriage album"

Ankur entered his house with his marriage album. Ankur welcomed Charmy's cousin. Charmy showed her marriage album to Mayank. Mayank pointed to the picture of Yajna and asked "Who is this?"

Charmy replied "Her name is Yajna, Nikhil's girlfriend. They are getting married coming Friday. Why are you asking?"

Mayank said "I feel like I have seen her somewhere" he saw the marriage invitation card of Yajna and Nikhil's on the table.

On the day of Yajna's marriage, Mayank went to Mandab and gave a handshake to Yajna and Nikhil "Congratulations"

Yajna said "Thank you and you are?"

"I am Mayank, Charmy's cousin. I came here on behalf of my father"

Yajna smiled.

At Ankur's house, Mayank gave the envelope and said "I got a few free tickets to travel in cruise. You can visit European countries with your husband. Consider it as my gift for your marriage."

Charmy said "There are four tickets"

"You can give other two tickets to anyone you want"

"I will talk to Ankur about the cruise plan"

Mayank said "Anyway, I am leaving tomorrow. Give me a call. If you decide to come" and he left from Ankur's House.

At the cruise ship, Yajna met Mayank "Charmy told me you gave free tickets for sailing in the cruise ship. Thank you so much"

"You are welcome"

The 5th night on the cruise, Yajna came out of her cabin at midnight. She sat near the pool bench and stared at the dark sky. Mayank came behind Yajna and said "You look worried"

Yajna turned to look at him and said "Hi Mayank"

"Why are you sitting alone here?"

Yajna said "I didn't get sleep, so I came out for some fresh air. Anyway, early in the morning, I need to wake up to visit the city. It's already 12:15 AM. So, I am sitting here enjoying the stargazing alone."

Mayank sat next to Yajna "You don't mind, I am sitting here"

Yajna said "No.. Not at all"

"So, you planned not to sleep tonight. Okay, I will get you something to drink"

"I don't want anything"

Mayank insisted "What if I insist?"

"Then I will take Cold Coffee"

After sometime, Mayank came with Cold coffee and gave it to Yajna. Yajna took a sip. Mayank said "The sky looks good today"

Yajna nodded her head "Mmm. So,.. You have a girlfriend? "

Mayank said "No... But there is this girl I dream about her often. I never knew she existed in this world. When I saw her picture in cousin marriage album. My thought is I want to see her."

Yajna said "You saw that girl"

"I saw that girl in her marriage. I should have seen that girl a little earlier."

Yajna consoled him "There are plenty of girls who stand in line to like you. Consider that girl is unlucky and move on"

Mayank said "There might be plenty of girls. But she is the one I wished"

Yajna said "I am heading back to my cabin. If Nikhil finds out I am outside late at night. He will be angry"

Mayank said "I will drop you at your cabin"

"No problem.. I can go by myself"

"Actually, I am bored. It's an excuse to spend time with someone. Moreover, I am too heading to my cabin"

Yajna smiled "Fine, Thanks in advance"

They took the elevator "What's your cabin number?"

Yajna replied "9100"

He pressed button 9 in lift and walked to her cabin. She opened her cabin "Mayank.. Thanks for coffee. Good night"

Mayank smiled and replied, "Good night"

The 6th night on the cruise, Mayank saw Yajna's argument with Nikhil. Mayank gave Ankur cold coffee and said "You should talk to her"

After Ankur left, Yajna felt dizzy and walked to the elevator. When the elevator opened, Last second she saw Mayank inside the elevator and lastly mumbled "Take me to my cabin" and her eyelids grew heavy and closed her eyes.
