Ch 65: I Found Him

Leila came home and lied in the bed. She muttered to herself "A hour ago, I was annoyed, pissed off, angry, crying. Right now, it's totally different"

Next day, Leila stepped outside of her house. Her father stopped her "Where are you going?"

"Father, You are not gonna send me back to England. Let me go and visit the place of Burma. I am not a prisoner here to stay inside the house"

John said "Take the guards with you"

Leila said "I am good. I can take care of myself"

William said "You no need to take the guard. I will escort with you personally"

Leila said "Brother,.."

William interrupted "This place is new. What if you didn't find a way back to home?"

John said "I will ask Mr.Bentley to escort you"

Leila smiled "I am good with my brother. I will take my brother"

Leila and William walked around the street. William asked "You don't like Gerald?"

Leila asked "Do you like him, Brother?"

"I actually hate him. He is a rich, arrogant bastard."

"Then, Why do you support our father?"

William caresses Leila's hair "Leila, Do you think I accepted our father's decision?. It was an order from our father. I can't oppose him. You shouldn't have come to India"

"Brother, I missed you. That's why without thinking of anything, I came here to see you." She said with the puppy face "Can you take me to temple?"

William takes her Buddhist temple. She goes around the temple and searches for Suraj but she doesn't find him.

Leila asked "Is there a temple any other nearby?"

William asked "Why do you want to go to the temple?"

Leila said "You should keep it secret from everyone. Yesterday, A guy named Suraj saved me from the snake. He said I can see him in temples"

William said "Then, I should thank him personally for saving my sister. But you can't be friends with Burmese"

Leila said "Okay, I will give you another option. Help me to go back to England"

William started giving lessons for his sweet sister "I will help you to meet him. This is only your first and last time. Burmese don't like British people"

Leila nods her head "I understand"

Leila didn't find him in other temples either. She turned to return to house. She found Suraj and Ram holding plants and walked towards her. Leila said to William "I found him"

Leila went to Suraj "Do you remember me, Suraj?"

Suraj smiled "I never thought I could meet you again. What are you doing here?"

"I came to meet you."

William interrupted and extended his hand for a handshake "Hello Suraj, I am William. Thank you Suraj for saving my sister. If you need any help in the future, you can ask me"

Suraj handshakes with William "Then, We beg your pardon for our leave."

Suraj nods his head. William left the place with his sister and asked "You met him. Are you happy now?"

Leila thinks "I didn't speak anything with him. But still, happy to find his place" and said "Thank you brother for today. I really enjoyed your company"
