Eddie and Richie were sitting in the van parked at a local park, the lot was empty. Eddie laid against the window and Richie had a tight grip on the shorter boy's thigh.
"I think I have to call the news channel." Eddie muttered as he pulled out his phone. Richie wordlessly nodded and moved his hand to hold Rddie's small hand. Eddie blushed at Richie's reassuring actions and typed out the number.
EDDIE'S POV
Ring... Ring... Rin- "Hi. This is Derry, Maine news who may I be speaking to?" A posh woman asked. "Eddie Kaspbrak." I admitted. There was a short pause. "H-Hello Eddie... What can I do for you." She obviously knew that I was 'missing'.
"I just want to tell you that I'm not missing. I'm eighteen, I'm an adult. I can leave whenever I want, and I chose now. I would appriciate it if you took down the article and stop saying I'm missing on the television. I am safe. Thank you." I said in a confident voice before I hung up.
I looked at Richie. I didn't know a phone call like that could make me so heated.
THIRD PERSON POV
Eddie was red in the face and was staring at Richie. "You okay?" Richie nervously asked. Eddie nodded and moved from his seat into Richie's lap. Yeah, the wheel might be digging into Eddie's back, but he doesn't care.
Richie looked at Eddie with wide eyes. "Don't get shy on me now." Eddie gently ran his index finger along Richie's jaw. Richie gulped, even though Eddie told him not to get nervous, he couldn't help it.
Eddie smirked and slammed their lips together.
