Third Person POV
Richie sat in his Chemistry class.
"I will need everyone to mix these two liquids. But, do not touch the glass! It will be extremely hot." Richie's overly enthusiastic teacher, Mrs. Freely, warned. Richie rolled his eyes and poured the two liquids into a seperate glass jar.
Richie stared at the glass. How bad do I wamt to see Eddie? Richie thought. Richie touched the glass.
It burned like a million suns were on the palm of his hand.
Mrs. Freely gasped. "Richie Tozier! What do you think you're doing?" Mrs. Freely asked like it wasn't obvious. "Touching the glass?" Richie played dumb. "Go to the nurse." Mrs. Freely demanded.
Don't mind if I do, Richie thought.

"Back again? Third day in a row, this has to be a record. What happened this time?" Mrs. Nelson asked. "I got burned." Richie stuck out his hand. "Eddie's got just what you need."
Just then, Eddie walked out of a back room. "I heard my name- you again?" Eddie was stunned. "Glad to see me?" Richie winked. "Richie. No flirting." Mrs. Nelson instructed.
Eddie led Richie to a back room. "What happened?" Eddie asked. "Burned my hand." Richie stated.
Eddie gasped at the burn on Riche's hand, "Holy fuck." Eddie said.
Eddie wordlessly dragged Richie to a sink and stuck his whole hand in freezing cold water. Richie flinched at the temperature. "What the hell happened?" Eddie asked. "Glad you asked doc. I was in Chemistry and put my hand on something I wasn't supposed to. Burned the shit out of myself and now I'm here." Richie recalled.
"Don't call me doc." Eddie demanded. "Whatever you say Eds." Richie smiled. "My names not Eds." Eddie huffed. "You want to be called Eddie Spaghetti? I get it, it's a great nickname." Richie teased. "If you didn't have burns on your hand I'd probably punch you." Eddie stated. "I would love to get punched by you Eddie bear." Richie cooed. Eddie rolled his eyes and took Richie's hand out from under the cold water.
Eddie grabbed a large bottle from a cabniet. "This is Aloe cream, it might tingle." Eddie said. "I know what else is tingling." Richie winked. "I'm not even going to respond." Eddie resposnded. Richie chuckled and let Eddie smear the cool cream on his palm.
Richie smiled at the small amount of contact. Eddie smearing gel with his index and middle finger onto Richie's burned palm. How romantic.
"Alright, I think your good." Eddie said. "You sure? I don't have any other wounds to be tended to?" Richie asked in a posh voice. "I swear to God Richie. Out." Eddie pointed at the door. Richie chuckled, "Thanks doc." Richie teased before he left the Nurse's office.
