The two boys belongings were unpacked. Boxes were empty. Rooms were filled. It felt like thiers. That may be a very cliche thing to say, but sometimes people have to be cliche.
Eddie's mother soon understood that Eddie left by choice, she might not be happy with it, but at least she understands.
Richie's parents didn't even care. His parents were a shitty excuse for parents.
The losers visited frequently. For dinners, for sleepovers, for parties, and sometimes just to say hello. Yeah, they can just call each other. But, why would you call someone you love when you can see them face to face?
Eddie discovered new things to love about Richie. How Richie never folds his underwear, instead he crinkles them and throws them in his drawer, he says there are better things to do than fold underwear. How Richie always burns eggs because he cooks them at the highest temperature. How Richie is so impatient. How Richie can go a full day without doing anything and be entertained. How Richie gets so excited when Eddie gets home from work.
Richie also dicovered new things to love about Edddie. How Eddie organizes all their silverware by size. How Eddie still wears his little short shorts when he goes running. How Eddie needs to have a first aid kit in every room. How Eddie won't sleep if Richie can't sleep. How Eddie talks on the phone after a long stressful day at work. How Eddie chews gum. How Eddie takes hour long showers.
They learned to live together without getting on each other's nerves.
There life only got better when they saved enough money to get their own house.
Richie became a successful comedian and even got a spot on Saturday Night Live.
Eddie became a risk analysis.
Stan and Bill live a peaceful life in a small cabin in God knows where. They visit Richie and Eddie as much as they can.
Stan became a science teacher at a middle school.
Bill became a director.
Ben and Beverly live in a studio apartment in New York. The type of apartments with a random brick wall in the living room.
Ben became an architect.
Beverly works at a daycare. Who knew the girl with such a tough exterior could have such a soft spot for young kids.
The losers might all be living seperate lives, but they never go a day without talking. They need each other.

Richie laid his head on Eddie's lap as Eddie typed away on a computer. "I love you Eds." Richie whispered. They've said I love you a million times, but this time felt different.
Eddie raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? I love you to Richie." Eddie smiled but Richie didn't smile back.
He sat up and stood up. "I really fucking love you. You know I'd be a dead man without you. I love you so fucking much." Richie breathlessly said.
Richie has these moments where he gets thinking about what his life would be like without Eddie. It normally leads to a long list of reasons why Richie loves Eddie. But, Eddie's not complaining. He loves Richie with his whole heart.
"I'd be a deadman without you too Rich. I love you so much." Eddie has pushed the computer away from him and gave Richie all of his attention.
Richie sat back down and looked straight ahead. "I might be crazy to do this but I don't care." Richie turned to looked at Eddie and kneeled on the ground.
"I love you so fucking much. It sometimes feel like I'm going to have a heart attack from how much I love you. That's why I want to fucking marry you. I want to be your husband. I want to be your one and only. I want you to be my one and only. I don't have a ring. But, I don't care. We'll get you a fucking ring, the biggest, brightest ring ever. You deserve the most expensive ring in the world. I'd give it all to you Eds. Will you marry me?" Richie hopefully asked.
Eddie broke out into sobs. "Richie, oh my God." Eddie got on his knees on the floor to be eye to eye with Richie. "Of course I'll marry you." Richie smiled and tightly wrapped his arms around Eddie.
"I love you Eds."
"I love you too my stupid boy."
