Allegra gave Madam Pomfrey a weak, grateful smile as she let her pass into the Hospital wing. As she headed for Harry her eyes fell upon Colin's frozen body on one of the beds. An unpleasant chill ran down her spine and she hastily kept walking.

"Hey Harry," she greeted groggily, taking a seat on the metal chair by his bed. He had a tray of breakfast on his lap.

Harry smiled at her, but even she could tell his smile didn't reach his eyes.

That makes two of us.

"Hey Allegra. Shouldn't you be down at breakfast?" He asked wonderingly.
She slumped, noticing his posture was on guard. He was uneasy, suspicious, befuddled.

"I'm not hungry," she shrugged, and it was the truth. Allegra felt ill just looking at food. Whether it was from drinking the night before or finding Colin's petrified body as she was sneaking back up to Gryffindor tower, maybe both, she didn't know.

Harry still stared at her. Clearly the gears were turning in his head. She sighed heavily and sat up straight. "Out with it already. Colin is three beds away from us, petrified, and you probably already know it was Prue and I who found him."

"How did that even happen? Dumbledore said you and Prue found him like that by the kitchens," he said.

She began to explain. "As you know, there was a party last for our win against Slytherin. I maybe, just maybe, drank a little more than I intended. At a certain point in the night I was craving ice cream but I didn't want to head down to the kitchens alone, so I asked Prue to come with me. Everything was fine until we left the kitchens because that's when we found Colin. He must have been heading there as well."

"He's been petrified," said Harry slowly, "and you didn't hear any voices?"

"No," she replied honestly. But Allegra knew the only reason she didn't was because her bracelet was on.

"I just don't understand," Harry huffed. "We both heard it back in September. On Halloween I heard it again, and that same night Mrs. Norris was petrified. Now last night so was Colin."

"I'm just as confused as you, Harry. You know our best guess is Malfoy, but we can't know for sure until the Polyjuice Potion is ready," she explained.

"But there was an attack last night and Dobby said there would be more!" He yelled frustratingly.

Allegra shushed him, glancing back to make sure Madam Pomfrey hadn't heard. Still seeing the matron by her desk, she looked back at Harry and spoke in a lower voice.

"The house elf you told us about? The one that came to your house over the summer?" She asked. Harry nodded and began to tell her that Dobby visited him last night. Dobby admitted he was the one who stopped the barrier from letting them pass at Platform-Nine-and-Three-Quarters, and that he was responsible for the crazy Bludger. All in the name of saying Hogwarts wasn't safe for Harry and force him to go back home.
