Allegra was not a morning person.

More than once back at Hogwarts did Prue have to be the one to wake her up, and more than once had her friends teased her (specially Fred and George) about her 'ray of sunshine' attitude.

But on the morning of August 21st, the day before the Quidditch World Cup final, she woke up right on time to floo over to Cedric's house.

"Can't believe I'm awake at this ungodly hour," she grumbled, zipping her travel bag closed.

"It's nine in the morning," said Caspian.

"Exactly."

Caspian huffed. "I'll see you at the game: Minister's box."

"I'll be with the band of redheads," she grinned. "Hard to miss."

His lips twitched. "Be good, alright?"

"I will."

Maybe.

"And..." began Caspian awkwardly, "again, I'm... sorry about everything that happened with Sirius. And I'm sorry you didn't get to spend the summer the way you wanted, but at least you are now. It's the least I can do. Go have fun."

Allegra grinned.

"Not too much fun," Caspian added quickly. "None of those Paris days."

"Understood," she nodded.

He gave her one last hug, kissing the top of her head. "I'll see you soon."

Allegra stepped into the floo and grabbed a handful of floo powder. She called out the address of Cedric's house, and immediately felt the rushing swirl sensation that came with floo travel.

It was only there for a mere few seconds before it was gone. She opened her eyes, and found herself in a cozy living room. She would've admired the decor, had it not been for the devastatingly handsome boy sitting on the couch. Cedric's eyes snapped to her, and Allegra's heart fluttered in the most disgustingly lovesick way.

For a moment longer, Cedric simply stared at her. Then he ran and launched himself at her.

She dropped her luggage.

As their lips clashed and his arms enclosed her, Cedric lifted her off the ground. Completely forgetting her surroundings, Allegra wrapped her legs around him and kissed him back fervently.

'Bloody hell,' she thought as their mouths opened to deepen the kiss, 'I missed this. I missed him.' And by the way his hands were roaming her body, she had an inkling Cedric felt the same.

She had just nipped at his lips when Cedric pulled his head back, inducing a small noise of protest from her.

Maintaining his firm hold on her, his eyes bored into hers. "Two  fucking months," he whispered. "Don't ever do that to me again."
