Summary : Chuck Bass has feelings for a girl and pays close attention to her. What happens when she starts to get suspicious of this new found love between them? Will they get together or will their friendship flop?

A few weeks has passed since Y/N's birthday party but as the weeks go by, Y/N starts to get suspicious of Chuck's intention.

Y/N walks into Victrola with the intention of looking for Chuck and finds him sitting at his usual place with their friends except for Nate.

"Chuck, we need to talk", Y/N said in a serious tone.

"Sure, anything for you Y/N."

Chuck responds in a gentle manner despite being in front of their friends.

Y/N shouts back at Chuck, "Yeah but that's just it, Chuck!"

"What are you—", Chuck tries to respond but gets cut off by Y/N.

"The flirting, the smiles, the quoting my favourite books and movies. What's gotten into you? What freaking angle are you playing at? And don't tell me that you don't know what I'm talking about because you do! I get that you're my best friend and you're being nice to me but lately you've been too nice."

"There is no angle. Maybe I just happen to have feelings for you", Chuck openly says with nothing to lose.

Y/N squints and replies, "But you're Chuck Bass!"

Chuck chuckles as he says, "I couldn't have said it better myself."

"Yeah but that's just it! Chuck Bass doesn't have feelings for anyone but himself."

"Maybe you're my exception..."

"Well, there you go again with the quoting..."

"If you can tell me what movie that was from, maybe I'll drop the whole quoting act."

Y/N lifts her brows and looks at Chuck with a 'Are you serious?' face as Chuck nods.

Y/N rolls her eyes as she replies, "The title of the film is..."

Y/N realises in that moment that Chuck will never quote any of her favourite movies or books again if she gives the title and so as she looks around at those who are staring at them, she acts like she doesn't know the title. Perhaps Y/N loves how Chuck pays attention to her that she doesn't want this quoting act to drop.

Y/N looks at their friends who are eager for her response, "I don't actually know the title to that film..."

Y/N looks down in embarrassment while her friends were shocked that she wasn't able to give an answer seeing as she was always good at remembering what line came from what movie.

Chuck smirks while looking down before looking back at Y/N again, "Come on Y/N, let's go before you embarrass yourself any further."

Both Chuck and Y/N leave and head home.

"I know you know that I know the title of the film very well because it was the film that we first watched together." Y/N tells Chuck.

"How can I forget? But then again, I also know that you wouldn't want me to stop quoting your favourite movies and books which was why you didn't give me the title, isn't it?

Y/N blushes and looks away. Never had there been a guy who is so interested in her that he takes it upon himself to learn everything he can about the girl he loves.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Y/N."

"Where are you going? We live together, remember?" Y/N reminds Chuck.

"I have things to settle first but when you wake up, I'll be there beside you. Goodnight Y/N, I love you", Chuck whispers the last part as he kisses Y/N on the cheek and leaves in his limo leaving Y/N alone.
