You were told by your best friend Seby that Kyle would be hosting a party and that a plus one was needed as a form of entry. Of course, this was just so that Kyle could get more people to come to his party but it wasn't like he was about to tell anyone that.

Kyle would also be bringing his plus one to make it fair to the rest. Little did you know that it'd be someone of your taste.

You had recently gone shopping with Seby and you gave each other opinions on both your looks. After discussing, you went with the final choice that Seby picked for you.

You both helped each other dress up and put on light makeup before heading to the party. You checked in with the security before entering Kyle's mansion.

"Finally arrived at the party?" You heard a voice from behind you as you turned to see Kyle and his plus-one, Frank.

"Shall we?" Kyle talked to Seby leaving you alone with Frank.

You greeted Frank and returned the gesture. The two of you knew one another already seeing as you're from the same friend group. You walked around Kyle's mansion with Frank as he gave you a tour seeing as you've never stepped foot in it before, surprisingly.

Frank left you to be on your own for a while as he went to take drinks for you and himself. You looked out onto the view of the pool and thought about how you last when swimming with your family when you were younger.

"Admiring the pool?" Frank's voice startled you as you got lost in your thoughts, "Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you." He handed you your drink as you continued the tour.

"Have you heard about the museum opening tomorrow?" You asked Frank knowing that he had a passion for paintings.

"Yeah, I did. I already booked a ticket to go and visit it. Did you?"

"Yeah. Seby told me that you had a thing for museums which I guess is something common between us..."

"I hope to see you there tomorrow, then."

You drank your drink instead of replying to him. By the end of the tour, all you really wanted to do was to dip your legs in the pool. People had already left and it was down to you, Frank, Seby, and Kyle.

You finished your drink and went to the pool to dip your legs in the water. Surprisingly the water was warm when you thought it to be the opposite. You let your legs dangle in the pool as Frank sat beside you and reciprocated your actions.

"What are you thinking about?" Frank asked you.

"Not much really. I'm just having some alone time", You replied to Frank's question.

"I'll leave you be then but thanks for hanging out with me the whole party. I'll catch you tomorrow at the museum if I can", Frank told you as he kissed your cheek and left you be.

You were surprised that you didn't say anything. You saw Frank stop at Kyle, probably telling him that he was heading home before he left the mansion. You made eye contact with Seby as she motioned for you to come towards her.

You got your feet out of the pool and wore your slippers as you made your way to Seby.

"Bye Kyle", Both you and Seby waved towards Kyle as you both walked towards Seby's car and she drove you home.

You got home 30 minutes later and changed out of your party clothes into your nightwear. You got under the covers and set an alarm for the museum tomorrow as you let sleep take over you.
