Summary : Two friends, Scarlett and Alex, have gained feelings for one another having grown with each other since birth. Alex invites Scarlett over for a swim and they realise that maybe giving in to their feelings for one another isn't so bad after all.

Hearing this made Alex sure that she was comfortable with it and so he kissed her. It took them long enough seeing as they both had feelings for one another for some time now. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful scenery. Two teenagers who had grown to develop a liking for one another and had grown up together because their families were familiar with one another. After a while, Scarlett unlocked her leg grip around Alex's waist and set foot on the floor of the pool.

"Now would be a good time to check out the Jacuzzi", Scarlett told Alex as they were getting out the pool.

Alex took Scarlett's hands and brought her to rinse off the chlorine on their bodies before making their way to the guest room which was where the jacuzzi was. On their way to the guest room, they greeted Mateo goodbye as he left to fetch his sister.

"Alex, can you come here?" Grayson asked him.

Alex told Scarlett to head over to where the jacuzzi was first while he walked over to Grayson who was sitting on the couch and eating Pizza for dinner.

"Look, I know that you two had kissed already but I want you to remember to take it slow. I don't want your friendship with her to be ruined. What you have between you two is unlike any other. Not many people can say that they actually got to be together with their childhood friend. Just um, just a friendly reminder." Grayson smiled at Alex when he finished saying what he needed to.

"Alright, thanks bro for looking out for me. I think I'll do as she wants me to - like if she's comfortable with taking the next step then I'm comfortable too. I don't want to do anything that she's not comfortable with. She's the first real person that I'm actually falling in love with— "

"Yeah and that's real and good and all and that's why you have to cherish and treasure her."

Alex nodded at what Grayson told him before he left to go meet Scarlett who was already in the jacuzzi relaxing.

"There you are! I was wondering if you were getting scolded or something by Grayson", Scarlett told Alex. "Did he address us as love birds again because if so, I could tell him that you're not comfortable with it— "

"No, he didn't and um it was nothing much really. We were just— "

"It's fine, really. You don't have to go into detail" Scarlett interrupted Alex as she gave him a smile.

Alex stepped foot into the jacuzzi while stating the obvious about how the jacuzzi is warm and all. That was something that Scarlett liked about him. He was never one to care about other peoples' opinions and he would just say what came to mind, except when he was around her of course which made her see him as sensitive because he was aware of what to say and what not to say when he was around her. She liked that particular trait of him because he would never fail to make her laugh but also at the same time tear.

Alex sat across from Scarlett, "This is nice. I feel like I could do this every day and probably have a message or two after this just to loosen my muscles and bones."
