▪▪▪"Giving our recent influx of monsters, the Sheriff and I have decided that we need to take drastic action. So please, give him your full attention." Dr. Saltzman moved away from the podium for the Sheriff to step up and begin his lecture.
Faith was currently sitting beside her sister, crossing her legs while wearing her new white dress she had just gotten. Looking over at Hope she smiled softly.
"Like Dr. Saltzman was saying, local girls Dana Lillien and Sasha Stoteraux didn't come home last night. Dana usually goes out of town for a couple of days to party, but this is Sasha's first time." Pictures were being passed around of the bitchy blonde girl who hounded down Lizzie. Another picture was followed of a pretty, mixed girl with brown curly hair.
"Thank you Sheriff Donovan. While Dorian is away with the knife and things are quiet on his part, it wont be bad to assume the worst." Dr. Saltzman continued on, Faith slowly bobbing her leg up and down. Anxious of being kept in this small space for so long, especially with so many people around her.
"Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under a guise as an exchange program meant to improve our schools relations, which is necessary due to unfortunate recent events. Now I give you permission to compel them, gather information for locator spells because any information we get will make a very big difference." Dr. Saltzman finished, leaving Faith to be the first to stand up.
"You can count on me Dr." Faith chimed in just as another voice beside her also piped up.
"Well I guess I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day, because that's what heroes do. So, I volunteer myself as tribute." Lizzie proudly volunteered herself, making Faith roll her eyes playfully.
"She battles one gargoyle and suddenly she's Mother Theresea." Hope scorned, making Faith hitting her shoulder.
"See this is why they aren't nice to you. Because you go around making comments like that." Faith sighed softly.
"I'm in." A voice picked up behind the two sisters, leading Faith's eyes to look at Kaleb and MG standing side by side. Kalebs eyes catching Faith's, winking playfully at her.
"I'm in too." MG agreed while looking around, before Hope stood up slowly.
"I'd like to help." Hope added, joining in the last spot before we all went our separate ways. Class was about to begin soon for Faith and she didn't plan on missing it just for some pathetic humans.
Turning into the doorway, she was met by a large, broad body that stood where she needed to go. Her eyes trailed up until they reached a certain pair of dark chocolatey browns.
"Can I help you Hawkins?" Faith inquired while moving around him, opening the door to the classroom. Kaleb following behind her into the dimly lit classroom filled with an assortment of dead flowers.
"What the- uh yeah just wanted to see if you wanted to sit with me on the way to you know...human kill fest." Kaleb joked around while Faith just shook her head softly.
"Sure Kaleb, I'd love to sit with you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to practice." Faith pushed Kaleb out of the door before locking it behind him, waving goodbye before slowly walking back to the dead flowers, singing a soft melody while touching each one bringing them back to life.
