After the night of the talent show, nobody spoke to or tried to speak with Faith. It was hard to get around school with no one talking to you except for your sister and those who are exceptionally close to you. School was about to begin and Faith was not about to be late just because people were afraid to press the wrong buttons.

Knocking at her door jumped Faith out of thought. Walking over towards her door and opening it, a tall, dark skinned fellow stood outside of her door waiting for her presence to grace his day.

"Ready for class?" Kaleb cheekily asked while holding his hand out to Faith, who only replied by placing her bag in his hand.

Kaleb chuckled softly as he made his way to catch up with Faith. On their way to class both were stopped by Dr Saltzman and dragged to his office.

"You want us to go where?" Kaleb hesitated to ask again.

"Maple Hollows. Itll be fun." Alaric claimed while trying to get the two students to go with him so that he wasn't stuck with Mr. D. And Ms. T

"Look, you are the one who didn't want to go home for Spring Break. And you...you're Aunt Freya is out of the...country." Faith rolled her eyes at his lame excuse for her to come.

"That's cause his family is crazy and mine is almost completely wiped out." Faith noted while explaining why they both weren't going home.

"Its the same thing every year." Kaleb explained to Dr. Saltzman while they both began walking back down the hallway.

"A barbeque, a game of spades, and then my Uncle's throwing hands. You think I wanna trade my family drama for yours?" Kaleb proposed sarcastically.

"I think you want unsupervised time to feed on humans." That is what caught Faith's attention, making Kaleb grimace at the sentence. Faith crossed her arms, biting her tongue to hold her back from cursing out Kaleb.

"Okay now we get to the real. You still don't trust me." Kaleb scoffed.

"Not as far as I can throw you." Faith muttered for neither of them to hear.

"Right now? Not as far as I can throw you." Dr. Saltzman reproduced the same sentence that Faith did.

"Look, MG doesn't need any negative influences while I'm gone. So come with me. All you have to do is follow my rules." Faith's eyes widened.

"Theres rules now!" Faith and Kaleb bellowed out, finding no satisfaction of going on vacation with Dr. Saltzman.

"Yeah they're simple! No using vampire powers, and absolutely no using vampire powers." Dr. Saltzman listed to Kaleb, making Faith giggle softly.

"Look, I do this you get off my back?" Kaleb offered to compromise.

"Nothing would make me happier." Dr. Saltzman lied.

"Alright." Kaleb sighed before furrowing his brows.

"Why doesn't she get any rules?" Kaleb looked down at the giggling girl.

"Have you met Faith? Like she'd do anything of the sort." Faith stuck her tongue out at Dr. Saltzman before realizing what he meant.
