~Juvia's PoV~

"Juvia... You're going to be a mom." Meredy said and smiled at me.

My eyes widened and my hand instinctively moved to my stomach. I'm pregnant?

Lucy hugged me in glee, excited that I was going to have a kid. I on the other hand, not so much.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't against having children. The problem was that I had to tell the father...

"Don't worry Juvia, he'll be happy. I know he will." Erza, as if she read my mind, assured me.

I nodded, but still felt slightly unsure. What if he changes his mind and doesn't want children... We've only been dating for a month...

The girls and I agreed to keep my pregnancy a secret. At least until I had told Gray first.

Well... as much of a 'secret' as we could manage...

"You're what now?! With who?! How did this happen?! Are you sure you're not just sick?! Maybe it'll go away!"

Gajeel walked back and forth screaming to himself, since I had already tuned him out. Turns out hiding these sorts of things from people you have known your whole life isn't as easy as it sounds.

He grabbed me by the shoulders and started shaking me back and forth. "JUVIA WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO. I'M NOT READY TO BE AN UNCLE."

I sighed and sweat dropped. If you think this is dramatic you should've seen him when he found out Levy was pregnant...

"Gajeel chill you're a father already you don't need to worry about it."

He stopped shaking me for a second then immediately started shaking me again. Only this time more harshly. "WHAT IF OUR KIDS DON'T LIKE EACH OTHER? I'M FORCING THEM TO BECOME FRIENDS."

I sighed and took his hands off my shoulders. "Gajeel I'm going to need you to calm down. If you keep shaking me I will vomit. I took a pregnancy test and the results were positive. Gray is the father and I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain to you how babies are made."

"How dare you do the dirty you're only a little kid." He looked down at me and shook his head from side to side.

I puffed my cheeks out and stepped on his foot. "I'm an adult!"

"Sure, sure."

"Hey Juvia." I heard an all too familiar voice say behind me. I turned around and saw Gray walking towards us. "What are you two doing just standing behind the guildhall?"

Gajeel coughed and awkwardly stepped back. "Well I should be getting back to... dad... stuff? Bye!" And with that he quickly made his exit back into the guild.

"What's up with him?" Gray asked me as he stood in front of me. I quickly shrugged and played it off. "No idea. Guess he has to do dad stuff..."

Gray narrowed his eyes and looked down at me. "Juvia you've been acting weird recently."

I quickly waved my hands in front of my face and looked down. "W-What do you mean? I've been acting normal."

Gray frowned and moved my hands away from my face, forcing me to look at him. "You've been acting strange for a week now. You try to avoid me every chance you get and don't think I haven't noticed how Erza has been distracting me with all these new missions."

"Gray I- I don't-" My throat felt as if it was tied up in a knot. Words couldn't escape my mouth. It had only been a week since we found out... I was not ready to tell him.

"Juvia I want you to be honest with me. What's up with you? Are you seeing someone behind my back? Is that it?"

My eyes widened at his sudden accusation. W-What? "Gray. You know I would never do such a thing."

"Well then what is it? Because you're obviously hiding something from me." He grabbed me by my wrist and looked at me straight in the eye.

My hand started shaking, my whole body started shaking. I couldn't tell him. What if he won't accept the baby?

He seemed to notice my shaking hand and my nervous look, as he abruptly let my wrist go. "So was I right? You're seeing some other guy?"

I couldn't speak. Not even if I wanted to. Tears started building up in my eyes and I still couldn't speak.

"Fine then." He turned around and started pacing towards the guild.

In one quick act of braveness I jolted forward and grabbed him by his wrist, stopping him from continuing any further. "G-Gray..."

He turned around, looking me dead in the eyes. He didn't say a word. It was my turn to speak.

Tears started flowing down my cheeks, but if I didn't speak up now I would have to forever hold my peace.

"I-I'm... I'm pregnant." My voice uneven and frail. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier I was just... I was just scared that you wouldn't accept the baby..."

Silence fell and I looked down onto the ground. "I'm so-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Gray embraced me into a surprisingly warm hug. His arms tightly wrapped around my shoulders and neck, and I could feel him shaking.

I was stood still, not sure what do do. Then I heard his sniffle. "Gray...?"

"Thank you." I heard him whisper, his voice cracking. "I swear Juvia. He won't have the childhood we had. He'll grow up in a loving home with loving parents and a loving guild. I promise."

My crying only became harder, not out of sadness but pure glee. "Thank you" I repeated back to him. I wrapped my arms around him and cried into his chest.

I love you... Gray Fullbuster.
