5. Brothers from Different Mothers

-Gray's POV-

As soon as Juvia turned around to talk to Mira I saw my chance to escape. I know it's rude to just leave like that, and not saying hi to Mira Cana and Laxus, but that was my only chance and so I used it.

That brings me to the awkward situation I am in now, alone with Lyon (who followed me after I left for some reason) behind the guild hall.

"Why'd you follow me" I questioned. "You want to talk to me or something?"

"No Gray, I followed you here because I am your secret admirer and I want an autograph" He sarcastically replied.

"Haha so funny" I said back with a hint of attitude in my voice.

"I came here to talk about Juvia" He started.

"There is nothing to talk about" I interrupted him and started walking away.

"I know you love her Gray, you always have" My heart skipped a beat and I looked back towards Lyon with anger in my eyes. "but she's mine now, I won Gray, accept it" he continued.

"When you left I saw the chance to win her heart and so I slowly worked my way to it. You made a stupid mistake Gray. You left her alone ready for me to sweep her off her feet. She's mine and you can't do anything about it."

I clenched my fist and opened my mouth. I was about to start talking when..

"Hey!" I heard a voice coming from the corner of the building. My eyes widened when I saw Juvia standing there with her fists curled up into a ball. Did she hear all of that just now?!

"I don't belong to anyone you hear me?! I'm not an object you can just own!" She shouted, and I could see she was trying not to show that she was hurt, but it clearly was not working. I guess she hasn't changed as much as I thought she did.

-Juvia's POV-

"You two brothers solve your personal issues and then we can talk" I stated, before turning around and quickly pacing back to the guild.

They really need to get their problems sorted, geez. As I stepped into the guild Meredy runs up to me.

"Hey where'd you run off to?" She asked with curiosity "you missed Jellal's and Erza's reunion!!" She continued, pouting.

I let out a small giggle before responding. "Just solving some family issues. You know those two aren't blood related but they sure act like brothers. Or maybe an old married couple. I can never really tell" Meredy immediately realized who I was talking about and let out a small giggle.

"We'll just let them be for a while" Said Meredy "but meanwhile how about we go shopping?"

"Sure" I responded.

"Hey guys!!" We heard a voice scream. "Wait up!!"

We turned around and saw Lucy running towards us. "Oh hey Lucy everything ok?"

"Yeah, I just saw you guys heading out of guild and I was wondering if I could go with you. The guild is too crowded and I'm getting kind of claustrophobic."

"Sure!" Answered Meredy.

I then came to the realisation that.... I still needed to babysit Gale. "Oh fork" I said without thinking.

"Uhhh what?" Asked Lucy confused.

"I just realised I need to babysit Gale"

"No, I mean why did you say 'fork' "

"Oh it's just, I don't like to swear too much so I use similar words instead. Anyways, I'm going to go talk Gajeel and Levy out of babysitting, so you guys stay here ok?"

"Sure thing!" They replied in unison.

I headed towards the back of the guild where Levy and Gajeel were literally making out. "Ew" I said, and they instantly turned towards me to look at me.

"Like you don't kiss Lyon" Levy said with attitude.

"Well yeah but I don't full on make out with him. And even if I did I wouldn't do it in public!" I said raising an eye brow at them.

"We're married Juvia get used to it" She said then laughed.

"So why did you interrupt us?" Asked Gajeel.

"Oh right! I was wondering if I could get off babysitting duties for a bit, I'm going out with Lucy and Meredy"

"Sure thing, Salamander is taking good care of him anyways" He said pointing at Natsu playing with Gale the same way he used to play with Asuka.

"Ok well see you later!" I said while turning around and heading towards the door. They started making out again as soon as I turned around. Disgusting.
