~Juvia's PoV~
I sat on my bed and looked at the closed envelope. After Mirajane gave it to me I decided to go home and change to new clothes that weren't ripped.
That reminds me I have to give that back to Gray. I thought to myself as I saw Gray's jacket laying on my chair.
I diverted my gaze back to the envelope and sighed loudly. Might as well get it over with. I placed my hand on the rose stamp and carefully opened the envelope.
I took the paper out and unfolded it. Before I could read it a signature at the bottom caught my eye. It was signed by a council member.
What could the Magic Council possibly want from me?
I made my way back up and read through the letter, which to my surprise was quite short.
Dear Miss Lockser,
This letter has hopefully been delivered to you before the 20th June of this year.
20th... That's tomorrow!
We are writing to inform you that one of our prisoners has requested to see you as his mid-sentence visitor.
Me? I don't think I'm close to anyone in prison... So why me?
We'll be expecting you to be here on the 20th of this month. We will give you instructions from there.
[Signature]
I sighed to myself. I just can't seem to catch a break can I? At least the wound's getting better...
I squeeze the letter in my hands and read it over and over again. I guess I don't really have any other choice.
~The next day~
I step out of Fairy Hills after getting ready. They never did say what time I had to be there so I decided to go early just in case.
It was currently 10am and I was walking towards the train station to take a train to Era. I still wondered who the mysterious person was...
I did know of people that were in prison, mostly because we put them there, but none of them were close to me so why would they want to see me?
And also considering they only get two chances to choose visitors. The start of their sentence and the middle of their sentence.
I remember it said on the letter they were in the middle of their sentence.
I eventually made it to the train station and got on the first train to Era. The town wasn't that far away from Magnolia so it only took the train about 40 minutes to get there.
Once the train stopped, I stepped off and stood on the platform. I've only been to Era a couple of times when the Magic Council requests to see the guild, but mostly it's either Master, Erza or Mirajane that come.
I walked around the town and saw the Magic Council headquarters on top of the hill. I walked up the hill for what felt like centuries and finally made it all the way up.
Why did they have to build it in such a steep hill?
I made my way towards the doors and stopped before them. Do I knock?
"Excuse me?" I heard a voice behind me. I turned to see an employee (frog person) standing behind me. "Do you happen to be Miss Lockser?"
I quickly nod. "Yes Sir that's me."
