6. Plans

-Juvia's POV-

"What about this one Lucy??" Asked Meredy while holding up a white knee length dress.

"Oh nice I like it. It makes your hair stand out." Lucy replied "But which do you think is better?" Lucy asked while holding up a pair of white ripped jeans and a pair of high waisted blue denim shorts.

"I can't decide, I like both. Ask Juvia she has a much better fashion sense than me" Meredy said.

Liar. She's just saying that because she doesn't know what to answer. I know all her little tricks, she ain't fooling me. But that's probably because she's been my best girl friend (female friend. Call it whatever you want) for over 6 years.

"So which one do you think suits me best, Juvia?" Asked Lucy turning to me and showing me both pairs of jeans.

"Uhhhh.... I think the shorts are better, since we are in June and it's the start of summer" I said with an unconvincing tone.

"Well I'll get the shorts then!" She said happily with a smile that covered half her face.

Not gonna lie, I kind of missed Lucy when she was gone. I know I always thought of her as a 'love rival' but deep down I kind of thought of her as a friend. I never really got close to her but judging from the stories that Levy used to tell me she was a really good person. I kind of regret not spending much time with her back then. That's why I'm happy to spend time with her now, besides it looks like Lucy and Meredy get along so... it's worth a try I guess.

We went to the cash register and Meredy paid for her dress and Lucy paid for her shorts.

"What should we do now? We've been to every clothes shop we could possibly go to" I asked as we exited the shop.

"Maybe we could go to the cinema and watch a movie" Suggested Meredy.

"What should we watch?" Asked Lucy while we walked towards the town's cinema.

"Oh I saw this really good movie trailer the other day" I replied enthusiastically "It's a horror film starring ******* ********. It's about a haunted doll"

"So like Chucky?"

"Kind of, not really. It's really good you'll see!!"

"Ok but we gotta buy food first. Cinema food is too expensive" Said Lucy while scratching the back of her neck.

-Time skip-

"I'm gonna have nightmares now and it's all your fault" Said Meredy while fake crying and holding on to Lucy's arm.

"Oh don't be so dramatic it wasn't that scary" I said while mocking her.

All of a sudden Lucy let out the highest pitched squeal I've ever heard in my entire life.

Meredy and I jumped and looked at her with concerned faces.

"Woah you ok there?"

"Guys I just came up with the best idea ever!!!" She exclaimed jumping up and down. And squealing a bit more. "Let's have a sleepover!!"

"Oh yay I've never been to a sleepover!! What exactly do you in one?" Asked Meredy both confused and excited at the same time.

"Well, we have pillow fights, we watch movies, we play games and talk about boys!!" Replied Lucy.

"Ohhh fun!!"

"So Juvia, Meredy is already on board with the plan, what about you?"

"Uhhhh sure!" I replied. I think this will be a nice bonding experience, and I think we could use that, since Lucy's been gone for so long. "I think we should invite the others as well , so there's more of us!"

"Good idea!! I'll invite Erza, Mira, Cana, Wendy, Evergreen, Yukino and Levy, if she's not too busy with Gale"

Now I think about it I haven't really seen Yukino in a while. But Lucy and her have always been good friends so I guess it's normal for her to invite her.

-Another time skip-

"Guys!!!" Lucy ran into the guild screaming. She ran over to the group of girls that were conveniently together, planning Team Natsu's welcome party which was being held the next day. (Me: ok so just if you were wondering the welcome party is the next day and then the sleepover won't be the night of the party but the next. Its confusing. Oh well)

She then explained to all of them what our plan was. Luckily enough Gajeel agreed to take care of Gale for the night so that Levy could come. Natsu even had the nerve to ask if he could tag along. He got a punch from Erza. He deserved it though.

Lucy then left to go to Sabertooth and ask Yukino about our sleepover, and that's when I couldn't help but notice that neither Gray or Lyon were anywhere to be seen. I could understand if Lyon wasn't here, this isn't his guild after all, but Gray should be with his teammates planning his welcome party for tomorrow.

I wonder where he is. Well, I think I should go home, it's been a long day and I need to rest for tomorrow's party, because when us Fairies party, we party hard.
