30. You Two are What?!

~Juvia's Pov~

I cheerfully walked towards the guild, carefully avoiding the mud puddles left by the rain the night before.

Should I be nervous? I kept asking myself. I hadn't seen Gray since he left my dorm and we didn't really have a chance to talk about what happened.

Are we even going to tell people? That would be a challenge since Gajeel and Meredy can read me like an open book...

Oh no what am I even going to say?!

I started getting nervous and replaying different scenarios in my head, but before I knew it I was already standing right outside the guild.

I decided to push all of my thoughts back and step into the guild. What's the worst that can happen?

"YOU TWO ARE WHAT?!?!" An ear penetrating scream greeted me as soon as I entered the guild hall, followed by several curious eyes eyeing me up and down.

"JUVIA!" I looked towards the voice and saw Erza practically sprinting towards me. Oh Mavis please help me.

She grabbed both of my shoulders and pushed me back and forth while screaming maniacally.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU TWO ARE DATING?! WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME?!"

I suddenly felt two arms around my waist, pulling me away from Erza and into a hug from behind.

"I'm sorry, I really tried not to say anything until you arrived but you know how she is..."

I looked up and saw Gray with an apologetic smile on his face.

I looked back at a fangirling Erza and Mira and laughed. "That's okay. Besides it looks like they're happy."

Gray chuckled and placed a soft kiss on top of my head.

"Elsa has a girlfriend~" Natsu cued while mockingly pointing at Gray.

Gray abruptly let go of me and charged for Natsu, starting yet another guild fight. "Shut it flame idiot!"

I felt an arm being rested on my shoulder and looked up to see Gajeel staring at the guys fighting. "So it's official huh?"

I nervously looked at his horrifying expression towards Gray. "Y-Yeah..."

He squinted his eyes and murmured something underneath his breath. "Ice bastard..."

I sighed and squeezed my pocket. It was now or never. "Hey Gajeel I have something to talk to you about."

He finally looked down at me and raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

I walked over to the bar and sat down on a stool, Gajeel following behind me and sitting on the stool next to mine.

I took out the paper from my pocket and handed it to him. He looked at me suspiciously and proceeded to unfold the paper to read
its content.

After a few seconds I saw his eyes widening. "Are you serious?"

I nodded slightly and I saw a frown upon his face. He was doubting wether it was a good idea.

He sighed and handed the paper back to me. "We're not going." He plainly stated.

I was shocked. I thought after all this time he'd agree. "What do you mean no? Why not?!"

"Juvia they're a bad influence on you. I don't want you going down that path again."

"Sol is working in a jewelry shop making an honest living and Totomaru is a teacher now. They've turned their life around Gajeel. Just like us."

"And Aria?"

"I haven't heard anything about him. But if he and the others are still in touch I'm sure he also chose to right path."

He hesitated and looked down at the nearly empty glass of beer in front of him. He chugged down the rest of the beer and slammed the glass back on the counter.

Was that even his?

"Fine," He said, not facing me but facing the now empty glass in front of him "but you're not leaving my sight."

My eyes widened and a surprised smile creeped onto my face. "Thank you!" I jumped on him and hugged him while he tried pushing me away. "You won't regret it!"

I quickly let go of him and walked away, while I heard him scream something behind me. "Regretting it already!"
