Chapter 2: Cold

Jackie's POV

"See you around" daw susko po. Kalma ka lang Jackie wag marupok at wag magin easy-to-get ha. Wow assuming naman ako haha. Pero bakit naman kasi ang gwapo nun. Parehas kami na singkit tsaka parang "good boy" looking talaga.

Namangha ako sa hotel at resort ang ganda at ang laki exclusive private resort ata ito eh. Ang saya kasi parang part to ng gift ng daddy sa akin. I am fortunate na mahal ako ng mga magulang ko.

"Wow mommy, daddy this room is really nice. Thank you so much for this vacation." I hugged them after we got into our room.

"You deserve this baby. We deserve this." Daddy said.

"Ate!!! Change na swimsuit!" Sabi ni Jamie habang suot suot ang salbabida niya excited talaga siya mag swim. Pero ako din naman eh.

"Mom? Dad?"

"Yes go ahead susunod kami ng mommy mo. Please take an eye on your sister Jackie ha."

"Yes po! Tara Jamie bihis na tayo."

"Yehey!"

As I hold Jamie's hand as we walked towards the beach - the sky is so clear and so is the water. The atmosphere is so lively and fun. Everybody is enjoying. Parang gusto ko magtagal pa dito.

"Oh Jamie hold my hand wag tayo lalayo ha."

"Yes ate! Yey!!! Oh no the water is cold!"

"Haha oo nga ok lang yan mamaya wala na yan. Woooooh!" I splashed some water on her.

"Aaaaaahhhh" tili ni Jamie.

We were really enjoying as we swim. And then suddenly, I saw from afar, from the entrance of our resort....Fred and his ate and younger brother with him walking towards the water too. I am trying my best not to blush and panic.

Jusko Jacqueline Bernize Lagdameo please please kalma lang! kalma lang! bantayan mo ang kapatid mo ng maiigi hoy!

But he is walking towards me and he gave me a smile.

"Hi Jamie!"
Excited niyang bati sa kapatid ko.

"Hi kuya Fred!"

"Wow mabuti na remember mo ang name ko. Hi there Jackie!"

"Hi" tipid kong sabi at nginitian ko lamang ito.

"Si ate Faye ko pala and this is Fritz. Ate, Fritz, this Jackie and Jamie."

"Hi! Ang cute mo naman Jamie!" Sabi ng ate niya.

"Thank you po! You are pretty as well!"

"Ay very good marunong mag compliment back! Gusto ko yan!"

Grabe ang saya lang. Tinutulungan ako ni Fred na hawakan ang salbabida ni Jamie. Sinamahan niya rin ako para laruin ito. Nasa gilid lang din naman ang mga kapatid niya pero nakaka kilig naman na gusto niya kaming makasama ni Jamie.

I just want to enjoy every moment before ako maging official na college student. And may bonus pa- an instant crush. Hay kaso taga Cebu sila anyway, four days is a lot of time to spare and hopefully I can get to know him.

Fred's POV

Pag labas namin ni ate at Fritz para maligo sa beach, nakita ko na agad si Jackie at Jamie na masayang naliligo. Ang sarap nilang pagmasdan. Gusto ko rin kasi magka baby sister tsaka ang gaan lang ng pakiramdam ko kay Jamie. Ang cute cute niya. Lalo na pag ngumiti ito nawawala ang mga mata niya. Pero itong si Jackie...iba ang ganda niya. Napaka simple. Walang halong arte. Ito yung gusto ko. I will grab this chance to know her in this four days that we have.
