Jayden's Pov

I woke up to Honeybee delicately tracing shapes onto my skin while she was asleep. My shirt rose up in my sleep, exposing my lower stomach. I let out a soft sigh as she nuzzled her head further into her neck. She looks so peaceful, which warms my heart. Lately, she hasn't been having peaceful nights of sleep. She tosses and turns and is extremely tense. The only way she can actually stay asleep now is when she's cuddling with me. Her breath tickled my neck as I played with her hair. We should probably get up, it's getting to be around 12 pm. I wanted to let her get extra sleep considering she hasn't gotten any good sleep for almost a week.

It's been a week since our day in the studio. That day has made everyone even tenser, especially Bey. If you walked into the house, you could almost taste the tension. Everybody has been teetering on the edge, even the twins. After the nightmare she had, Bey has been scared to go back to sleep. Every night I've had to try various methods to get her to fall asleep from tiring her out by dancing to singing her to sleep. So far the most successful one has been singing her to sleep and back rubs. It's kind of like getting a small child to go to sleep. And when I finally can get her asleep, it's a very light one filled with tossing, turning, and sometimes tears. I can tell it's been taking a toll on her. She tries to hide it, but I can tell she's tired and anxious. Sometimes I feel as if it's all my fault. If I hadn't lied and just told her from the start she wouldn't be losing sleep. Or if I would've handled the nightmare situation better. I feel like this is my fault, but I know it's not.

"Hey babes," Bey husked into my ear.

     "Morning Honeybee," I whispered.

"Why are we whispering?" She whispered back.

"Because we're not trying to ruin the moment and I want to revel in your morning glow,"

"Glow? Jayden my face is swollen and I have morning breath," She giggled. "What so beautiful about that,"

"Shhhh," I placed my finger on her lips and she crossed her eyes to look at it. "Don't ruin the moment Honeybee. Stop asking so many questions and just go with it," She giggled as she moved her leg so it was resting across my legs. I opened my arms and she repositioned herself as she rested her head on my chest and laid on top of me. I wrapped my arms around her and started drawing patterns on her back. She let out a content sigh as she began to trace my collar bone.

I looked down to see her focused on her finger tracing my collar bones. Her face was relaxed and the sun glimmered onto it, highlighting and defining her features. Her bonnet had slipped off so her golden hair cascaded down her back. The sun highlighted her hazel eyes, so I could see the green flecks that resided within. Her lips were swollen from her sleep and she had a few flyaways to frame her face. The only way I know how to describe her is ethereal. Yea, that's the word.

"Why are you looking at me like that, is there drool on my face?"

"Am I not allowed to just look at you Honeybee?"

"Well, you're currently looking at me like how I look at my sandwiches,"

"No, I'm looking at you like you're the definition of ethereality,"

"Exactly, like how I look at my sandwiches,"

We both laughed at that because she's not wrong.

     "You're such a dork,"

"Nah, I'm a thug," She said. She sat up to straddle me and crossed her arms across her chest and mugged me.

"Whatever you say babes," I chuckled as I rolled my eyes.

"Don't make me give you a Houston beatdown," She threatened.
