Her Secret

Chapter 8

Blue's Pov

     I shot up, opening my eyes. I had kicked my sheets to the foot of m bed and I'm having cold sweats. I looked over at my clock to see it was 2:46 am. I groaned as I got out of my bed and waddled to the bathroom. I do not feel good at all. I opened the door and turned on the lights. I shielded my eyes from the bright light. I blindly reached over until I felt the knob and I turned it to dim the lights. After I found a setting that was good for my eyes, I fully opened my eyes and adjusted to the dim lighting. I turned around to look in the mirror to see I was covered in sweat. That's gross. I noticed that I looked paler than normal. I splashed some water on my face to see if that would help. It didn't help. I sighed and turned around to leave, just to be hit with a sudden wave of nausea. I bolted to the toilet and threw up. Gross. I flushed the toilet then I stumbled back to the sink and wiped my mouth with a wet washcloth. I opened my cabinet to grab some mouthwash because stomach acid tastes horrible. I  rinsed out my mouth and made my way to Jayden's room. I have to tell mommy I threw up. 

     I quietly crept down the hallway and was about to open Jayden's door when I heard a sound. I paused and listened closely. Woah, I can hear it so clearly. It sounded like Jayden got sick too. I was about to open the door but was interrupted. 

     "Come in Blue I know you're there," She growled. Why is she growling? I quickly walked in and shut the door, careful to not wake up mommy yet. I quickly padded to the bathroom to see Jayden sitting on the floor curled up next to the toilet. 

     "You okay Fluffy?" I questioned as I sat down next to her. She flinched and scooted away from me. Weird but okay. 

     "I'm sorry but it's just, oh fuck-" She sped to the toilet and threw up. I crawled over and held back her hair. I touched her neck with my hand and just as expected, ice cold. She finnished and I handed her a wet washcloth so she could wipe her mouth. The mouthwash was already out so I'm guessing she's been sick for a hot minute. She rinsed out her mouth then came over and sat back down. 

     "As I was saying, I'm sorry its just that a full moon is tommorow and I guess my body is just rejecting human food I guess," she explained. 

     "It's okay," I replied. "But what's with growling at me earlier?" 

     "Full moon is tomorrow, the hybrid is trying to come out,"

     "The hybrid?" I asked. 

     "Well I'm a Hybrid Smallz, and-," She paused with a thoughtful look on her face. "What all do you know about werewolves?"

     "Well according to tv they always change on a full moon and they're allergic to silver and something called wolfsbane,"

     "Well the full moon part is correct. Well since I'm a werewolf and a vampire on the night of a full moon my humanity turns off,"

     "Turns off?"

     "It becomes dormant. Like my wolf and vampire instincs take over and my humanity lies dormant,"

      "So this means..."

     "I become a blood thirsty killing machine who won't hesitate to kill you," She chuckles. 

     "When normal wolves change do they lose their humanity?"

     "I'm not really sure Smallz, I've never met another wolf?"

     "Never?"

     "Never," She replies. Dang. It must be hard not knowing any other werewolves or let alone hybrids. 

     "So Smallz why are you awake?"

     "I woke up and threw up and I came in here to tell mom,"
