Chapter 1

7:30 am

Jayden's Pov

Just a few more steps and then I'll be there, I thought to myself as I stumbled through the bare grassy field. I used all of the strength in my body to make these last couple of steps to the edge of the street. All I have to do is cross it and scale a three-story building and sneak back in. Easy. I crouched and prepared myself to swiftly run across the street but before I could, it started getting dark. I dropped to the ground and tried to regain myself, but everything began to get dark until all I could see was black

Beyoncé Pov

     "Have a great day at school Baba, I love you!"

     "I love you too mommy, bye bye," Blue yelled while doing a soft jog into the school building and waving at me. 

     I waited until she was safely in the school building too roll up my window and driving off. I decided to take the scenic route back to the house. I just wanted to go back home and take a nap. I steadily cruised down the street, listening to my thoughts until I noticed something on the side of the road. No, more like a someone. I looked ahead of me, then quickly turned behind me to check if there were any other cars on the road. I slowly pulled over to the side of the road, concered as to why this person is laying on the side of the road. I gently stepped out of the car and padded over to the body to see the body. I stopped in my tracks. I lowered to a crouch to get a closer look at the body. It was a young girl, most likely around the age of fourteen and fifteen. She was naked and curled up into a fetal position. She had blood all over her face and blood dripping down her chest that had begun pooling around her abdomen. I gently laid my fingers to her throat, checking for a pulse. I sighed in relief when I found a strong, beating pulse. I softly nudged her shoulder over to check for injuries, seeing that she had a large gash across her stomach. I looked around for help, momentarily forgetting that I was alone on the desolate street. I quickly ran back to the car and opened the trunk. I snatched my extra shirt and sweats that I always had in my trunk and quickly jogged back to the girl, being careful to avoid the blood. I scruched up the legs of the sweats and started to pull them up her legs, careful to not move her too much. I scrunched up the shirt and put it over her head and guided her arms through the armholes and carefully tugged the shirt down over her abdomen, careful to not move her. I carefully picked her up and carried her to my car. I struggled slightly, but successfully opened the back door and laid her across the backseats. I hopped in the drivers seat of the car and began to drive to the hospital. 

     How did this poor girl end up in this condition on the side of the road? Why was she naked and bleeding? I consumed myself in my thoughts while I quickly drove to the hospital. 

Jayden's Pov

     I quickly opened my eyes as I shot up. Fucking hell, how did I end up at the hospital. I looked around and seen a doctor with a needle in his hand. Oh hell naw. 

     "You're awake!" He exclaimed cheerfully. 

     "How did i get here," I quietly mumbled. 

     "A really nice lady brought you in, said she found you on the side of the road," He explained. 

      Dammit. I didn't make it back. They're going to notice that I left. Why didn't this random bitch just mind her buisness and keep driving? Now they'll know.
