Jayden's Pov

"So Jayden what did you do today?" Beyonce questioned.

"Explored the house a little more and hung out with Blue," I replied, attempting to be as vague as possible with my answers.

"So do you like it so far?"

"Yea I really do," I replied with my honest opinion. I really like it here, especially the yard.

"That's good, I'm glad you do," She replied while cutting her meatball. We're currently at dinner and we're eating pasta with meatballs and it's pretty good. I haven't really eaten much of the pasta but I ate all my meatballs.

Blue is sitting on my left with Rumi on my right with Sir beside her. On the other side of Blue sat Jay and beside him Bey. Jay hasn't been complaining or anything since I compelled him. He won't say anything slick for a while, my compulsion abilities aren't as strong as I like so it'll most likely wear off in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, I'll have connected with the family so that if he tries to make me leave they won't want me to.

"What's your favorite part so far?"

"I'd have to say the yard, I love the outdoors,"

"I really like outside too!" Blue chimed in.

"Well maybe we can start hanging out outside too," I chuckled.

"I'm glad that you guys are getting along," Bey chimed in.

"I'm glad we are too," Blue giggled.

"Me too Smallz" She mugged me which made me laugh harder. The rest of the dinner went on with casual conversations and me being bland with my answers. Eventually, we finished dinner and everyone went their separate ways. I ended back up in my room. I was chilling on my bed when I head gentle knocks on my door.

"Come in," I shouted. To my surprise it was Bey, she stepped in and shut the door behind her and made her way to the foot of my bed.

     "Are you okay?" She inquired.

Why is she asking me this? "Of course, why do you ask?"

"Well earlier when you, Jay, and I were talking you had what I'm guessing was a panic attack and said something then ran out the house," She elaborated. How did she remember that? I compelled her to forget it. I know my skills aren't that advanced but I most definitely compelled her. I quickly thought of an excuse to cover up the fact that she remembered.

"Y-yea I just needed some fresh air? Yea fresh air," I nervously stuttered, hoping I convinced her enough to at least stop interrogating me.

"Are you sure? You looked like you wanted to curl in on yourself and bawl your eyes out,"

     "I'm positive,"

"And why did you say that we were going to let you stay no questions asked and that we were going to forget about it? I asked Jay about it after you left because I wanted to give you space because I don't know how you cope but anyways I asked him and he didn't remember it?"

I panicked. How didn't it work on her? How? "Manifestation?" I blurted out. It was a lame excuse but it's better than the truth. She raised her perfectly arched brow but then nodded her head.

"That makes sense I guess," She thought aloud. "That makes no fucking sense at all. I'm definitely keeping an eye on her because her excuse was definitely weak. I think she somehow made Jay agree to what she said, but how? Nah that doesn't make sense though, that only happens on tv. But it's still a possibility, I don't know much about her still so I can't rule that out," She thought.
