third person
(this chapter is soft!)

"you're being soft now." corbyn says, taking his fork and taking a bite of serenity's food. "besson, i'm not soft. i'm just grateful for what you do for me." serenity says, eating her sushi. the two finally got their food a bit ago, the restaurant has been very busy considering it's a friday.
"i'm grateful for you, renny."

"no who looks soft?" she asks, laughing through her drink. "not corbyn, definitely not." he tells the girl, eating the last of his sushi. "that's the last roll ding-dong, and i won't share." serenity says, smiling as she eats hers. "i can always order more, you like it?"

"corbyn i love sushi. you probably asked sadie what i like."serenity says, smiling at her boyfriend. "sure did-not. i just remembered what you like, herseys with almonds and sushi. with the occasional coke pop." corbyn says, taking out his phone. "heyy guess what..."

"um you got a nerf gun? you DOOR-DASHED STRAWBERRIES??"

"nope, well the strawberries will be coming home. but the boys and i got the album done. wanna hear some?" corbyn asks, gong to his music app. "no i don't, why shouldn't we is trash." serenity says, putting her hand up and looking away from the boy. "ouch that really hurt my feelings."

"i'm sorry bubs, do you need cuddles?" serenity asks, putting her hand on corbyn's. "yes and head scratches. do you love me?" corbyn asks, slighting smiling at the girl. "i don't know, why? i don't know what love is anymore corbyn. like it's not just something i can sing about."

"okay okay, can i show your surprise?" corbyn asks, reaching under the table. "corbyn we are not having sex in the restaurant." serenity whispers, leaning forward. "no, i'm not pulling that out. it's this." he pulls out a velvet box, and smiles as he slides it to the girl. "we aren't getting married. we are still young."

"open it babe."

serenity opens it and shuts it immediately, almost in tears. "you didn't, stop it." says serenity, looking at corbyn with glossy eyes. "did you read it?" he asks, taking out his phone to record this moment. "yes, you got 'i promise' engraved?" she asks, hiding her face in her hands.

"do you like it?" asks corbyn, wiping his eyes also. he knew that serenity would like the gift. he always wanted to express those two words for her, but through everything they have been together he knew today was the perfect day. "i love it, corbyn. i love it." she says, wiping her eyes.

"aw baby, i didn't mean to make you cry. i'm sorry."

"corbyn i'm emotional. did you get the right size?" she asks, sniffling. "yup, size eight. i asked sadie, i asked her everything that i need for tonight." says corbyn, putting his phone and placing his hand on top of serenity's. "you are making me soft right now besson."

"hey i thought we agreed that you stopped calling me that?" he asks, as serenity laughs. the waitress comes by and picks up the plates, also drops off the bill. "nope, it's your name deal with it." serenity says, placing the box in her purse. "you are so lucky we aren't home."

"i know." she smiles, leaning on her hand watching the boy sign the check. "you're cute." he says, putting the ticket in the pocket and staring back at the girl. "says you, besson." serenity says, smiling at him.
