"what do you mean? he just sexual harassed you!! serenity you could have gotten beat up pretty bad." corbyn raises his voice, wiping his eyes. he doesn't like crying or his eyes watering in front of people. to him it's a sign of weakness. "but hey corbyn you saved me! i will fix you, ok?" serenity takes his hands, and looks at him dead in the eye.
"serenity, i just don't want to see you hurt. i've seen way to much people get hurt because of me. also i could've kicked daniel's butt!" serenity embraces corbyn in a hug, rubbing his knuckles.
"no corbyn. you got in a fight with your band member, and messed up his face pretty bad. i'm not picking sides, i want you safe." serenity let's go of corbyn's hands, and puts his face in them. "i'm starting school soon, meaning we won't see each other. but want you to be safe. especially with daniel." she kisses his cheek, and goes to her car.
"but- i thought you were done with school?" corbyn asks, getting in the passenger side of the car. "no. i'm going in as a sophomore. i'm telling you this now, so you don't freak out at me when i don't answer your texts." she buckles, serenity waits for corbyn (to get buckled) then starts driving.
"i will seriously never leave your side. only when you go to school. but other then that, i'm not trusting anyone close to you." serenity shoots him a glare, kid really. "corbyn i'm fine. i'll be getting pepper spray, when i go back to school shopping. meaning that i won't be in the studio some days." she says, looking back at the road. "wow. leaving me already renny?" they both laugh.
the car ride back to the apartment was very quiet, the only thing playing in the background. was the music. sad songs. fit the mood. "corbyn. why did you do it? like to show your affection towards me?" serenity asks, parking her car. "why? why? serenity you want to know why i beat up daniel? why i did it? because serenity i love you. he put himself on you, and that is the gross part. i put him in his place." serenity looks at corbyn, confused.
"you love me? corbyn? you are kidding me right?" serenity asks, having a hard time to keep eye contact with corbyn. "yes. why do you think i care so much about you?" serenity pulls corbyn into a kiss, it's very short. "corbyn i know i said i wasn't ready, but i think i may be. for a relationship." the two of them make their way inside, serenity shuts the door. and looks at corbyn. "where is sadie?" the two look, at each other.
"i think we left her. well since we have no young eyes. maybe?" seeing gives him the disgusted look, no. not in this book. "no! we have to go back and get her! god i left with that prick!" serenity yells, running back to her car. "corbyn stay here!" she gets in her car, and frantically drives to the house. she gets there and storms inside, most of the people left since the fight happened.
"sadie? sadie? oh hey zach, have you seen sadie?" serenity bumps into him, zach only shrugs. no sign. "nope sorry. the last time i saw them was they were getting in her car. i'll text corbyn if i see anything." zach goes downstairs, leaving serenity to find sadie- possibly jack. she has went in every room, the last one she hasn't was corbyn's. should she? the curious girl opens the door and shuts it behind her.
it's not like she has been there before, but alone. serenity goes to the nightstand and opens it. in there is a letter addressed to serenity and christina. serenity opens the one addressed to christina, it reads:
dear Christiana, (11-24-17) i've have written this to say (although i'm a bad writer) that i feel like we should stop talking, it's so hard to balance you and the band. i've struggled so hard by keeping up, but again i can't. and yes i realize that my feelings towards you have changed, i've seen other girls, but you will always have a special place in my heart. with love, your corbs <3

"you're kidding. this has to be a joke." serenity whispers to herself, putting the letter back in the drawer. before she leaves the room, serenity goes to his closet and picks out a hoodie. then leaves. taking a whiff of it, leaving the house. leaving the boy who sexual harassed her. maybe only to get in her pants, and he hates the word "no". much like christina.
the girl goes back to her car and gets in. she plugs in her phone, and sees missed calls from sadie and corbyn. odd. she starts it up, then calls sadie. she answers in seconds. "yo your boyfriend is here. so is mine. i mean friend. my female friend. corbyn is worried. where are you?" sadie asks her, serenity pulls out of the drive and gets going back to her apartment.
"i'm at the stupid bands house, LOOKING FOR YOU! dumbass, don't do that! i came back for you! by the way tell corbyn to get into bed. i'll be there in twenty." serenity says, smiling. "um it doesn't take twenty minutes to get here- wait are you seeing another guy?" serenity rolls her eyes and ends the call. nerd. ten minutes pass by, and no serenity. another ten, she pulls into the parking garage, and parks.
the girl looks in the back and sees a backpack, she reaches in the back to get it. opens it and sees another letter. addressed to her. no she can't. she closes it. and walks to her apartment with the backpack. (and the hoodie) "she's home!" sadie yells, scaring jack off the couch. serenity locks the door and goes to her room.
"be good, no sex!!" serenity states the two teens, opening the door to her room. seeing corbyn already set the mood. no ew, get yer mind out of the gutter. "here is your backpack. and um corbyn about earlier.... let's talk." she whispers.
