"great what?" serenity asks corbyn, who also shuts the door behind him.
"what? i see daniel has joined us." corbyn sits down on the couch, directly across daniel. watching his every move. "i finished the song!! and i have nothing else." serenity tells him, leaning against the board. "well since the cats out of the bag, this is her song. it's called, you." corbyn tells daniel, who seems very attracted to serenity.

"ohhh!! that's cool!! can i hear it?" corbyn and serenity look at each other in unison. the look on the girls face says it all. no. why should she have a random, well not random. a boy that is decent looking or in her case, cute listen to her song?

"um, s-ssure." she stutters out, turning up the volume. the song has been playing in the background, but very faintly. she gives the boys a sigh of relief. "wow, ren this is good!!" serenity sees corbyn's fist clenched, ready to punch daniel. she furrows her eyebrows, why? "she doesn't like being called ren, only close friends get to call her that." corbyn says sternly, he says it towards daniel.

"oh i'm sorry. serenity-" he gets cut off by serenity, turning off the volume and giving corbyn the death stare. "it's fine daniel. call me whatever. don't listen to him." she winks at him, and goes back in the booth. "where is she-?" the very curious daniel asks corbyn, while she puts on the headphones. another song?

"i knew i was falling when i saw your face, smiling at me. looking at me, from afar. maybe if was meant to be? or maybe we were two teenagers that needed to love?" serenity sings, amazing daniel. which only makes corbyn more jealous. he likes her, no one else can have her.
"good job ren!!" daniel bops his head to her song.

corbyn leaves the room in disgust, that the girl he just met, and was getting close to. just flirted with his best friend.
"yo corbyn where you going?" Daniel asks him, he only shrugs in response. "tell serenity that i left." daniel nods his head, and goes back to tend with serenity.

after twenty minutes she comes out extremely exhausted. she has recorded two songs today, and worse of it all is that she is just getting started. "THAT WAS SO GOOD!!!" daniel embraces her in a hug. she pulls away and grabs her purse. "where did corbs go? did he just randomly leave?" serenity asks, stretching. signaling that she is ready to leave.

"hey daniel you ready? i'll probably come over to the house. depending if he answers my call." serenity tells him, he opens the door for her. "sure! are you supposed to close those or something?" daniel asks her, she shrugs and walks down the hallway. her mother has moved, probably went home. home.

"i'll see you later daniel!" serenity waves goodbye, and leaves the building. she lets out another sigh of relief, music is stressful. she gets in her car and starts driving to the apartment. serenity turns on the radio but only for it to be interrupted by a phone call. someone named corbyn.

"yes corbyn?" she asks, rolling her eyes. he left her. "can we talk? at the house. in my room. don't talk to anyone when you come in." he tells her, she questions it. without speaking. the line clicks and leaves serenity alone.
so she drive to the house, and does exactly what he told her. she opens the door and goes straight upstairs. there serenity is greeted with flowers on the floor.

"hey serenity, i think i like you."
