the two get in serenity's car and get buckled, then they leave to go the studio. the music in the background of the car, is the only thing that is keeping serenity awake. (after the fall?) "you doing alright ren? you are driving very odd." corbyn asks her, she bobs her head. obviously no. "no, my head hurts so bad. can you please drive?" she parks the car, on the side of the road.
she unbuckles and opens the door, only for her to loss the coffee. (and yes i mean hurl) corbyn rushes over and hold her hair up. after five minutes of losing everything, serenity hugs corbyn. she cries into his shirt, causing her mascara and all the makeup to transfer.
"i'm sorry." she tells him, he smiles, and kisses her head. "i'll drive you back, i will text my dad. and say you aren't feeling well. ok?" he leads her to the passenger side, helps her in. buckled her and shuts the door.
"can you stay with me corbyn?" he nods his head, and starts driving. "of course! i will never let you be alone." he says, blushing. the car ride is very fast, considering it's corbyn.
he parks and goes over to serenity's door, he carries her in and sets her down on the couch. then goes back out to close the doors and get the coffees. he shuts the house door behind him. "do you want tomato soup or chicken?" corbyn asks her. she shrugs. "let's get into bed, before you sleep for fifty hours out here." corbyn carries her to the room, but her mom comes out. with her suitcase. "what's wrong with serenity? and shouldn't you guys be at the studio?" she asks him.
"she hit the dresser desk, and well her coffee come up. so she would be better if she stayed home. where are you going Ms.Gregg?" he asks her, opening the door. "i'm leaving. i'll be back soon, but for now take care of her." corbyn nods his head and takes serenity into her room. he puts her under the blankets and kisses her forehead. she is burning up. "i'll be back renny." he says, turning around. "corbyn?" he turns around, to see weak serenity.
"yes?" she slowly closes her eyes. he nods his head and leaves the room. there he sees sadie and june, helping pack. "um corbyn what are you doing here?" sadie asks, sitting on-top of a suitcase. "renny got sick, so i helped her back here. is it ok if i stay here and make sure she is ok?" june nods her head, zipping up her suitcase.
"corbyn, she has been treated like shit. before. it literally broke her. she was scared. she didn't eat for weeks, she didn't even go to school. scared to see his face. and well she met you. and she tells me you aren't in love, pshhh." june tells him, setting the case on its wheels.
"she's in love with me?" corbyn stutters, making his cheeks pink. i mean really pink. "yes. now i have a flight to catch in a hour, so please don't have sex. be good you two." june hugs sadie and takes the suitcase outside.
the last time corbyn will ever see her. "ok now, corbyn since i'm the girl of the house. go do something." sadie shoos him away, he walks back to serenity's room and goes inside. corbyn goes over and crawls next to her, slipping his arm under her head. "i love you back serenity lynn." he whispers, closing his eyes.
serenity wakes up first, rubbing her temples. she sees corbyn snoring very loudly next to her. he must have went down for a nap. she gets up and goes to her bathroom, and brushes her teeth. she puts some mouth wash, to get rid of the puke breath. serenity checks the bump, and it went down. maybe it was just the nap? "hey corbyn, i'm going to get some food. i'll be back." she whispers, leaving the room.
serenity goes to kitchen and opens the fridge, she pulls out some leftover chicken salad. "hey mom left. just wanted to tell you." serenity spins around to see, sadie sprawled out on the couch. watching tv."like left left? like back to florida?" serenity takes out a fork and starts eating the salad. straight from the container.
"yea. you were knocked out, corbyn heard the whole story. she told him about you and jared." sadie smirks, rubbing it in serenity's face.
"she w-what? she did. well i'll be in my room." serenity takes the salad to her room. her mom said something that wasn't meant to be said. especially to corbyn. "hey there renny. you ok?" corbyn leans on his arm, yawning. "yeah i'm fine. i'm actually great."
