the girl got up early, the stress was eating at her.
she was scared. her music was something she has always thought of pursuing, and today was the day that serenity was moving to California. for her music. her college was there. but no friends, her friends were here. in florida.

"hey mom are you sure this is a good idea? like i'm really debating that music isn't my thing." the girl says, sitting down at the kitchen table.

"yes renny bun, when you love something so much you want to follow it. and i already payed for the flights." serenity's mom says. the girl buries her face in her hands, and let's out a sigh.

"i know mom just i think it's a bad thing, leaving all my friends. and moving somewhere i don't know anyone." the blond girl explains,picking her face up from her hands."sweetie you will be fine, i will be there for a few weeks. i promise." her mom tells her. "i know, just it's not the same. then you leave and i met a boy, we date-" serenity gets cut off.

"serenity if you met a boy then he will have to be
passed by my test. ok?" the mother pulls out a bowl and milk.

"yes mom. i know. is this going to be easy?" serenity asks her mom. the mother pours some cereal and the milk in a bowl for serenity. "not at first, but it will get better. moving is hard. renny, especially for people who move across the country." the mom explains to serenity. she puts a spoon in a bowl, and pushes it towards serenity.

"and? is dad coming to the airport?" serenity asks her mom, taking a bite of her breakfast. "i'm afraid not, he has to work. and has his dinner tonight." her mom tells her.
"he has this, has that, never has time for us anymore mom. don't you see it?" serenity raises her brows.

"yes honey, i realize that. but he is the one that gave you the money to spend for california. now eat up before we have to leave." her mom looks at her watch and taps it.
"ok ok." the teenage girl says, eating the last of cereal.
she gets done and sets her bowl in the sink.

"i'll get in the shower, then we are ready to leave!!" the excited girl rushes upstairs and gets undressed.

serenity gets in the shower and does her hygiene things. she gets out and puts on a hoodie and some sweats pants. she also puts a towel up in her hair, to dry it. "mom have you seen my bag? the black one?"serenity yells from her room.
"on your bed!!" her mom responds. serenity dries her hair and puts on some mascara, then she moves to her teeth.

after all of her makeup is done and puts all the essentials in her bag. she slides on her shoes, she then also braids her hair in 2 french braids. "BE READY IN 10!!" her mom yells.

the girl finishes packing her carry on bag, she zips it up and puts it on. she walks over to her desk and grabs her phone, she then goes to her light switch, she takes one more look around the room. "i'm going to miss you." she said, turning off the lights, and shutting her door.

serenity goes downstairs and meets her mom.
"ready?" the girls head to the car, where their new life awaits. "the boxes are already in the apartment, so the only thing you need is food. dad covered the other expenses." her mom says, getting in the interstate. "cool, i'm just scared. that no one will like me." serenity tells her mom, looking out the window. leaving her friends and family behind.

"serenity lynn they will like you!! matter of fact they will love you!!" her mom responds.

the girls get to the airport, park and go inside.
"two tickets for gregg." her mom says to the receptionist. she then hands the girls two tickets, they go the bag check.

next thing the two of them know they are waiting for their flight. "hey renny has anyone texted you?" her mom and her daughter."just sadie, she is meeting me there." the daughter goes on. sadie will be serenity's roomate. from florida.

"Flight 450 is now boarding." the over head voice says.

the two ladies get up and walk over to the desk.
another lady scans and motions for them to go.  "ready renny?" the two girls get on the plane, find their seats and get buckled. "ready then i will ever be." she responds.
the two of them plug into their phone to provide a
form of entertainment.

"this is your captain speaking flight 450 to los Angeles from Florida, we will be taking off in a few minutes. we expect the weather to be nice and sunny. please sit back and enjoy the ride." a voice over a speaker.

after a good four minutes the airplane takes off, for the new life serenity is wanting for. serenity decides to take a little cat nap, to have her energy.

the teenage girl gets woken up by her mom swatting her arm."we landed serenity!! c'mon!!" her mom tells her.
the girl gets unbuckled, she stretches her legs. then grabs her bag and leaves the plane. "thank you!" serenity tells the captain whom is standing by the cock pit. the two of them find their way of the airport, looking for their driver.

"ah look it's sadie!" her mom exclaims. seconds after, serenity runs to her best friend. welcoming her in a huge hug. "THE GANG IS TOGETHER AGAIN!!" serenity yells, for the whole airport to hear. "you bet!!" the girls find their way out of the airport, looking for the car.

"is max picking us up? or is it Hops?" sadie asks her second mom.

"hops, look there he is." the three of them get in the car, the driver starts the way to the apartments.
