i threw on my gear and headed out. only one kid was auditioning for quidditch and it was ginny. she became a reserve right away.

"Okay everyone," oliver said, clapping his hands, "6 laps around the field, now!!" i heard groans but ginny and i started running right away. "no whining or you get an extra two!" he yelled after Katie.

ginny and i were jogging, thinking no one was behind us when oliver passed us, winking at me. "oh that little-" i said, and ginny started running. i followed close behind her, now closing up on oliver. he looked back quickly, pretending to "slow down" once in awhile to trick ginny and i.

"good practice today everyone, remember; we have an early practice tomorrow! 4:00 am!! be there or i'll have ameylia and ginny beat your arses!" yelled Wood, ginny and i giggling. we headed up to the castle, helping oliver carry the trunk with the supplies in it.

"hey ginny, could i talk to ameylia for a second," oliver spoke, "alone."

ginny glanced between the two of us and then smiled, "of course." she took the trunk and headed up to madame hooch's office to put away the equipment.

"so, ameylia," Oliver said, dusting himself off.

"yes..?" i asked, holding my arms because of how cold it was.

"i'm wondering if you, ameylia gord, want to maybe...go on another date with me?" he asked, smirking.

"erm, when? where?" i asked, trying not to sound too excited.

"how about we get butter beer. it'll be on me, and i can get to know you a little better," he said, crossing his arms as well from the coldness.

"sure! let's plan a time tomorrow. i'm tired."

"okay. see ya Gord!"

"bye Wood!"
