It was a week later and i felt a lot better. i headed down to the great hall and sat with Hermione and Ginny.

"i'm so nervous for OWLs," said Ginny hiding her face in her arms letting out an exhausting yawn.

"oh, Gin, relax, i'm sure Hermione will help us," i said, side hugging her.

"yes, I will help you both," hermione said, "but i have to help harry and ron as well."

Ginny perked up, "i'm fine with that." i glanced at hermione and we giggled knowing Ginny had developed a bit more of a crush on Harry.

"I hope you all know," i heard Oliver start speaking before us girls turned our heads towards him, "that instead of leaving this year, i'm staying one more."

the gryffindors cheered happily and i saw some slytherins roll their eyes.

"that's great oliver!" said Katie, and i glared at her. i knew she had a crush on Oliver but i ignored her because of how petty she had always been when Oliver and I hung out. If I had a penny every time she sent me a rude glare, I'd be richer than the Malfoys.

"we need a girls night before this year ends," yawned ginny, tucking herself into her covers.
"for sure," i replied and Hermione agreed.

"maybe after OWLs though," hermione said quickly. ginny and i laughed at her smartness and we all headed to bed.

"Today was so boring !!" fred said, throwing his satchel at the wall.

"yeah for sure Freddie, i hate OWLS," laughed George.

i nodded at Ron, "no one has had as bad of a day as him." fred and george smirked and snuck over to Ron, convincing him that they had the worst day.

"guys sign my year book!"shouted ginny running into the common room. Luna was with her.

"sign mine too," said Lavender, scribbling hearts around her name in Ginnys book.

Fred handed me his yearbook, "sign it."

i took it widening my eyes jokingly, "fred weasley? letting me sign his year book? what kind of joke is this?" he laughed and handed me a pencil from his bag as i jotted my name down and a little note. he took the book and smiled at me. i'm glad we ended the year on good terms. i signed all my friends year books as hermione passed out invites to the 'girls night.'

"oh my goodness!" shouted Mcgonagall after Seamus turned his toad into a goblet, "you've improved majorly, finnegan!" he smiled proudly at Dean who rolled his eyes. Sesames blushed. they need to just get married already.

"okay Ameylia your turn my dear," Mcgonagall said, turning from Seamus's desk to mine.

"Vera Verto!" i said, waving my wand at a little salamander; turning it into a cup of water.

"very well dear!" stated Professor as she walked to the next desk.

"OWLs are going to be MUCH harder next year," said hermione, jotting down something in her book. "whys that, 'Mione?" asked ron, who was of course, shoving his mouth full with chicken.

"because, Katie told me. She has a lot of teacher insight, you know." Hermione stated.

"since when have you been friends with katie?" Harry asked, knowing we all hated her.

"we have a lot in common." said Hermione matter-of-factly. Harry looked at me and rolled his eyes at Hermione's attitude.

"Neville got 100% on all his OWLs," said Harry moodily.

"good for him!" snapped Ginny, smiling at Neville: who smiled back.

"how were your OWLs, Ameylia?" asked Ron, poking his broccoli with a fork.

"great. i think i ACED most of them."

"good." ron replied.

"great." harry snarled.

"what's up with you two?" hermione partially shouted at them as they both turned red.

"Harry and Ron FAILED their potions test," said Dean, laughing.

seamus and i giggled and hermione rose, "well, that's no reason to be a git to your friends. come on ginny. come on Mel." i hid my smile and followed my friends to our dorm.
