Monday
After school, I walk down to the quidditch field with George Weasley, one of my many friends from last year.
"So Wood asked you to join eh?" He asks, smirking slightly. I nod and shiver as the cold wind pushes against my back.
"He must be getting real desperate if he had to narrow down to asking you," he says right before I play punch him in the arm. Rubbing it off he adds, "I'm only kidding." We both laugh entering a huddle of quidditch players. Oliver isn't in sight.
Suddenly, pouring rain comes down. Everyone starts chattering and holding their hands over their heads. Fred, jogging over to George and I, tossed me a jacket and stole George's. As they fight over the jacket I spot Oliver heading inside and ran up to him.
"No practice?" I gasp for air, looking back at the twins who are way behind me. He looks at me in the eyes and then quickly away.
"Erm, guess not." I laugh unintentionally as he immediately cocks his head at me.
"Sorry, you're just so awkward," I try not to laugh at the expression on his face. Cheeks turning red, he whispers.
"You know, no body really talks to me so, thats why I'm awkward."
"What do you mean? Aren't you like famous for being the best gryffindor quidditch player?" I ask, looking at my feet as we start walking inside.
"Well, I am, but people don't talk to me. They congratulate me or compliment me then move on."
Looking back at him, I remember my second year at hogwarts when everyone assumed not to talk to me and I had to make friends myself. I can thank Draco for that, he has some nasty rumors to spread. I had this feeling Oliver and I would be great friends.
