𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁

𝗰𝗵 𝟮 , 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘁. 𝟮

Memories rush in as I walk through these enormous halls. Last year went by so fast, I'm hoping this year will be different. Hogwarts is like an escape from home for me. At home my parents are always fighting, ignoring me, not caring where I am.

Hogwarts is where my chosen family is, the people that make me feel like real home- Hermoine, Ginny, Harry, Neville, Ron, and Luna.

"Hello, Ameylia."

I turn around to see a Luna Lovegood.

"Oh hey Luna !"

I met Luna at the wizarding summer camp for new first years up to new fourth years. I hug her and we both catch up with each other's home life. She's been hanging out with her dad over the summer, picking berries and doing lots of gardening. I tell her about my summer, long walks on the beach and morning jogs on the board walk.

Entering Snape's class, I look around and lock eyes with Malfoy. He's slouching in his desk beside Crabbe and Goyle. I walk to my seat, loosing eye contact with him and looking who's all in my class. I see some recognizable faces- Oliver Wood, Seamus, and Cho Chang. Pansy Parkinson isn't in this class , YES. Pansy Parkinson is the most annoying stuck up snot in Hogwarts, besides Draco.

I open my book as Snape introduces himself to the first Years who didn't listen at the big feast.  A short first year comes and sits across from me.

"Hello, I'm Sarah." The blonde girl says. She holds out her hand for me to shake which I do.

"I'm Ameylia. I'm a third year," I reply.

We talk for awhile about Hogwarts and how she got her letter. It turns out we have a lot of similarities, we both have no siblings, fighting parents, like quidditch, and think pineapple doesn't belong on pizza.

After a long conversation, I look at her tie. And that's where I second guess myself. Yeah, she's wearing a green tie. I'm starting to think she's Draco's secret sister, looking awfully alike, I ask, "whats your last name, Sarah?"

Smirking, she whispers, "Lestrange."
