hermione handed me the guest list as ginny set up balloons around our dorm.

i looked at katie's name and pretended to scribble it out.

"you'll be fine," said Hermione, hanging up streamers.

"then i can invite Pansy," i sneered looking at the list, re-reading it.

"she's awful. at least Katie is in gryffindor," said Ginny.

"why do houses matter?" i ask, putting the paper down.

"fine, invite Pansy. Don't expect me to hang around you with her though," Hermione snapped sassily. i rolled my eyes as Cho and Luna entered with a box of treats and books.

Lohhh pumpkin pasties!" shouted Ginny, eyeing the box.

"my personal favorites," remarked Cho as i hugged her, "i haven't seen you in a long time!"

Lavender and the Patil sisters entered with makeup accessories in their handmade bags. Hannah, Alice, and Alicia came with spa supplies and nail polish.

lastly, Angelina and Katie showed up. "Bestie!" shouted Katie as she hugged Hermione. Ginny and i glared at them and welcomed Angelina.

"Are there any boys here?" she asked, pushing her hair behind her ears.

"no," i laughed, "it's called a girls night for a reason you know?" she nodded and joined Alicia and Hannah who were setting up the salon supplies.

"let's play truth or dare!" shouted Hannah and Katie squealed. i blew on my nails which Alicia had just painted and sat on the rug in a circle with everyone.

"i'll start," said Angelina, "Hermione, truth or dare?"

hermione giggled, "truth."

"hmmm, who do you fancy?" angelina smirked before Hermione's cheeks went pink.

"cmon Hermione," said Katie, sitting crisscross beside her. I couldn't help but my roll my eyes at her enthusiasm.

"I mean, Ron's pretty cute isn't he?" hermione said, and ginny rolled her eyes, I laughed (because we obviously knew!). katie rolled her eyes at us as hermione spoke.

"Hannah. Truth or Dare?"

"dare," Hannah said, puffing out her chest in a proud way.

"i dare you to kiss Neville!"

everyone oood and hannah nodded as we followed her quietly to his dorm.

"okay, you lot stay hidden, i'll ask him if he wants to play truth or dare with us then i'll do it," said hannah.

"but won't he be embarrassed, being the only boy?" asked Lavender, and Padma nodded, "let's just have all the boys play."

i shook my head, "not in our dorm!"

"in the common room!" perked up Parvarti, and everyone agreed. we all sat down in the common room while Katie and Hannah got the boys.
