"Mel wake up!!" Hermione practically shouted, shaking me. ginny was in her bed rubbing her eyes and sitting up slowly.
"what!?" i asked, yawning.
"Today is the Yule Ball and we still haven't gotten dressed!" Hermione snapped, looking at her necklace which had an hourglass on it.
"i've already got mine, 'Mione," ginny sniffed, still clearly sleepy. "Wait how are you going to the ball? You're a first year, aren't you?" "I, for some reason, got moved up to second year. That's why I could try out for quidditch, yaknow?" Ginny smirked.
"okay well Mel and I need to go, now!!" said hermione, digging in my wardrobe and throwing a pants and tshirt at me. — after getting changed, hermione and i headed to hogsmaede.
"how's this one look?" asked hermione, holding up a blue dress, as i shook my head, "it doesn't suit you." after hours of looking we both decided on beautiful dresses.
