Chapter 14

Arizona's POV

Today is our first day back after our time off. I have an ultrasound with Lexie today, she is 36 weeks pregnant,  I'll be about a month after her giving birth to the twins if all goes to plan,

Our alarm goes off at 8 and Callie groans and gets up to cut the alarm off, I roll back over and close my eyes

"Arizona, Really?" She laughs

"You went to bed early last night come on" she says walking over to my side of the bed giving me kisses and helps me up

I walk to the bathroom to pee and I wash my hands and brush my teeth before walking out to get dressed, she is already dressed and smacks my ass as she passes me walking in to the bathroom,
I look back at her and raise my eyebrows and she just laughs,

I get a pair of leggings and a t-shirt, I'll change into my scrubs at the hospital,

We get dressed before going to wake the kids but they were already up and downstairs with my parents eating breakfast

My parents were going shopping today so the kids were going to the hospital Day care while we worked

"Good morning  everyone" I say smiling going over to pour my coffee

"Good morning momma" Sofia says

"Good Morning" Zola says

"Morning Momma!" Luke says jumping up to give me a hug
He called me momma, my heart is full, these are the mornings I can't wait for in the future, our whole family sitting down for breakfast,
I pick him up sit him back in his chair before turning to kiss Sofia's head and give my parents a hug,

I notice Sofia looking down at the table and over to Zola, I wish she would talk to us,

I frown and sit down next to Callie

"Okay everyone we have to be at the hospital before 9:30" I say they all nod in response

After breakfast the kids go get ready for the day and my parents leave to go shopping and I walk over to Callie doing dishes

"Somethings up with Sofia," I say leaning against the counter

"What do you think it is" she ask drying her hands off

"I don't know, she has been down a lot and I noticed it this morning at breakfast too" I reply leaning into her

"She'll talk to us when she is ready," she says kissing my temple and the kids come down and they have everything they need

"Are we ready?" Callie ask

"Yea" they all say together

We get everyone loaded into the car and started the 10 minute drive to the hospital,

When we get there Callie walks them up to day care so I can find Lexie,

I get her and Mark settled in a room and start my exam

"Okay guys are you ready?" I ask sitting down on my stool they nod and I start looking at the baby

"Okay it looks great, you have a healthy baby girl, she is growing right on track and should be in your arms next month!" I smile and they smile and kiss each other

"I'm assuming you want pictures" I ask

"Yes please" they say

I get them printed and handed them to lexie

"So any pain at all?" I ask sanitizing my hands

"Um not much, just some in my lower stomach or back and pressure here and then but nothing too bad" she says
