Chapter 21

Callies POV

We got discharged later that night and got home around 9, the kids should already be in bed which just leaves Arizona's parents awake

We get in the house and they rush I've do take the twins while I help Arizona up the stairs

"Can you help me in the bath?" She ask when we get to my room

"Are you allowed to take a bath?" I ask

"Yea just no soaps" she said and I nod helping her in the bath

"So you are just sitting here?" I chuckle

"Yes Calliope it's soothing" she chuckles laying back

"I'm going to go check on the twins are you okay?" I ask and she nods

When I get downstairs Arizona's parents are holding the twins

"Hey hunny, everything okay?" Barbera ask

"Yea she just wanted to take a bath, are they okay and were the kids okay?" I ask

"Oh yes! They are perfect and of course Sofia said she wanted to stay up for you so we told her to just lay down in her room, I'm not sure if she fell asleep or not" she says

"Okay thank you, do you mind watching them for a little while longer until Arizona gets out of the bath?" I ask

"Oh of course not, take as much time as you need" she smiles and I walk up to Sofia's room

"Mommy!" She smiles and runs over to me

"Hey love, why are you still awake I chuckle sitting back on the bed with her, she was playing on her tablet

"I wanted to see you and the babies before bed" she says

"We'll come on let's go see them before bed," I smile and we walk down to see them, after she sees the babies I take her up and out her back in bed and go back to our room

Arizona is already laying in bed

"Arizona Brooke! Why didn't you wait for me" I pout

"Calliope I gave birth, I'm not paralyzed" she chuckles

"Fine," I smile and give her a kiss before walking down to get the twins

I bring them up placing them in their cribs in our room before taking a shower myself, when I get out they start crying and Arizona is up putting them in the bed,

"Can you help me get Ollie to latch?" She says and I nod getting in bed and helping her get Oliver to eat,

The next morning

We were up so many times last night I don't even think we slept,

I got up and went downstairs and see Arizona's mom making breakfast and Luke playing with some toys, while I put some coffee on,

"How was the first night" Barbera ask

"Exhausting, I don't think we slept very long, I'm going to take Arizona up some breakfast and bring the twins down to hopefully let her sleep some more" I say  and take Arizona up some food and as soon as I walk in the door the twins start crying

"I got them" I say and go to pick them up they needed their diaper changed so I did that then gave them to Arizona so she could feed them before taking them downstairs

"Stay up here and eat then go back to bed," I say and give her a kiss before walking downstairs

"Can I take one of them" Arizona's dad says cheerfully I nod and he grabs Oliver from me and I set down with Olivia in my arms
