Christmas Eve

December 24th

Arizona's POV

I have an early day today, only one surgery scheduled then meeting up with Karev to get one last gift for Callie, I get up at 5 and get dressed in my scrubs grab my keys and bag and take them out to the living room. I walk back into the bedroom to say goodbye to Callie before heading off.

"Hey... baby" I say and she opens her eyes "

"I'm heading to the hospital now, I'll call you later I love you" I say and give her a quick peck on the lips

"I love you too" she calls rolling back over to go back to sleep

I make it to the hospital around 6:15 after stopping for coffee, only an appendectomy at 8 today so shouldn't be too long,
I finish up checking on my tiny humans before paging Wilson, she is by far my favorite Fellow, she gets our patient 10 year old Michael Stevens prepped and ready for surgery,
Surgery takes us 46 minutes and he is back in his room perfect as can be,

Callies POV

I don't wake up till 9 longest I have slept in, in a long time, I get up shower and shave, pull some lounge pants on with a purple t-shirt and head to the kitchen to make breakfast,  chocolate chip pancakes, Sofia's favorite,
She must have smelled them because she walks down a few minutes later

"good morning love bug how did you sleep?" I ask

"Good where's momma at? I need to ask her a question" she says shoving pancakes in her mouth

" at the hospital but she has a slow day so she should be home by dinner, is everything okay?" I ask

"Yea it's fine just need to talk to momma, I'm going to go call Zola love you" she says after finishing her breakfast and goes upstairs

"okay I love you too"

I clean up our dishes and tidy the living room before putting more presents under the tree, Arizona is going to kill me,

Arizonas POV

Finally 12:30 rolls around and I go to find Alex, He's the only one who knows about Callie and I trying for another baby. Of course he figures out I'm pregnant, I guess that's what working in peds does to you, he is helping me pick the perfect gift to announce to Callie that I'm pregnant! I can't wait!
About 15 minutes later he walks in the cafeteria

"Where the hell were you? 15 minutes late Karev" I say and he smiles

" oh calm down I'm here, did you decide what you wanted to do for Callie?" He ask

I in fact did not but I can not let him know that,

" Um yea of course.....maybe a scavenger hunt?" I suggest

"A what now?" He ask

" you know like Christmas morning she will get a clue and they lead her to different parts of the house with small gifts and the last one will be the pregnancy test? Sound good?" I ask

"I love it! Congratulations Robbins" he says and I blush and give him a hug as our first stop is the jewelry story,

We get Callie a beautiful diamond bracelet she has been looking at, after a couple more stores I make it home with 6 no 7 bags of stuff...
