Chapter 16

July 11th

Arizona's POV

Today was Lexie's baby shower and the kids were hanging with the men today so Callie is on her way dropping Luke and Sofia off with Derek and is meeting me at Lexie's, I was getting there early along with Meredith and Amelia to set up while Mark and Lexie went for breakfast, the shower starts at 1 so we have only a few hours to get everything set up,

"Wait where's the cake?" Amelia ask

"Callies picking it up once she drops the kids off" I say putting some food on the counter

"How did you get The men to keep the kids?" Amelia chuckles

"It was either watch the kids or come play baby shower games, Lexie's letting Mark go once they open presents" Meredith laughs

"Hey Mer get me that streamer behind you please?" I ask and she hands me the pink streamer to put up and I hang them along the doorways,

"I come bearing Cake!" I hear Callie say as she walks in

"Hey baby" I say giving her a quick kiss before turning back to what I was doing

The cake is a mix of pink and purple two layers with a small crown on top with the wording "Princess on the way" I think Lexie and Mark would like it

"Oh it's beautiful" we say looking at it

"Okay back to work" Amelia smiles

"Right, Callie take these balloons and set them up around the house" Mer says and Callie takes the balloons setting them up

April shows up around 12 with some things she had made food wise, some small finger foods and some presents,

We got everything finished and set up before Lexie and Mark came back and to say she was exited is an understatement,

"Oh my god! This is amazing! Thank you all so much" she said with tears in her eyes and we all walk over to her and give her a big hug

The party went good, great even. Lexie got everything they needed for the baby and afterwards Mark went over to Dereks and to meet with the men while a few of us stayed to help out everything away
Their nursery looks amazing and we start to head out around 8

"Hey Arizona!" Mer says

"Hey! You okay?" I ask

"Oh yea I just figured since it was already late the kids can just spend the night and I can drop them off to the daycare in the morning" she adds

"Are you sure?" I ask

" of course!"

"Thank you Meredith" I say and give her a quick hug

And I head to the car to meet Callie

"Ready to get the kids?" She ask

"They are going to stay at Meredith and Dereks tonight so we have the house to ourselves" I smile and give her a kiss

I hear her grunt and she starts the car

2 minutes from the house and I move my hand slowly up her thigh closer to the hem of her pants,

"Arizona.... we are almost home" she says stepping on the gas a little more
