Betty

I was shaken awake by the bus driver who told me this was the end of the line. It was nearly 2 in the morning and the cold air blasted my face as I stepped off the bus. I looked up at the sign over the door, "Riverdale Bus Stop". Riverdale? Where the hell is that? I shrugged it off as I walked further away from the bus station, mentally taking note of how long the supplies I had would last me. My parents abandoned me at a fire station as soon as I was born and they put me in an orphanage. I was kicked out at the age of 10 because they could tell I was different.

To be fair, I am. I have no idea what it is about me but I know I am different. I have an acute sense of smell coupled with incredible hearing. They always told me I ate too much but I never felt like I was very full. Blinding neon lights pulled me from my thoughts as I walked down the street. I thanked heaven as it looked like it was still open, as I made my way over I checked my pocket for the rest of the money I have from my last job. I pulled $150 out of my pocket and did the calculations in my brain. If I stretch it I should be able to get school supplies and eat for a week, which leaves me exactly that amount of time to find a job or I starve.

As I made my way through the door the little bell above it jingled and alerted the gentle looking old man behind the counter of my presence. He looked up at me and gave me a smile and said, "What can I get you sweetie?" I walked up to the counter and took the menu he held out for me. As I looked through it I noticed the prices were incredibly low so I ordered cheese fries and a vanilla milkshake. He told me it was free seating and that he would bring out the food when it was ready.

I scanned the dinner and saw it was fairly empty, as it should be at 2 am. The only other person here was a tall, dark haired boy who was sitting in the corner. I walked to a booth near the counter and faced away from him but I could feel his eyes burning into my back. When I turned around to look at him he was looking at me like he was confused, his face was wrinkled and it was almost like he was sniffing the air. I brushed it off as the man who introduced himself as Pop brought out my food. I thanked and began to eat my food.

I finished my meal as slowly as I possibly could, I knew that once I finished and paid I would have to go back into the cold. The last scraps on my plate disappeared and I knew it was time to search for a bench to sleep on. Tomorrow I would need to find the school and enrol myself so I would need my sleep. I got up to thank and pay Pop but as he rang my bill he looked at me with a worried look. "Are you going to be ok sweetie? It is very chilly outside," he said, gesturing to my clothes. I looked down at my torn jeans and old baggy hoodie, the warmest things I had and then answered, "Ya I'll be fine, thank Pop."

And with that I was gone, hoping he didn't notice how I was shaking. I made my way through the dark streets trying to find something that will keep me off the ground as I slept. Eventually I gave up and found a big tree a few feet back from the road to curl up under. I let the exhaustion take over and slowly drift off to sleep using my backpack as a pillow.

Sweet Pea

I was sitting in the back of Pop's in the early morning scrolling through my phone when the bell above the door jingled. I looked up and in walked a blonde in baggy clothes with a backpack. A few seconds after she walked in I tried to smell her, she smelled like a wolf. But the nearest pack was over 300 miles from here. I looked at her with a confused face when I didn't see her try to smell me. I sniffed again just to make sure I was right. She is definitely a wolf. As she eats her meal I link Jughead and FP.

S - There is a wolf in Pop's. It looks like she is alone.
