I was trying to make it like "how I met your mother" but that... yeah ANYWAYS

DRACO POV

It was a cold september morning. I had just finished breakfast with my parents. I excused myself to take a walk around the park. I hated going out where muggles were but this time it was quiet. I saw on a nearby playground's swingset, a girl reading a book on famous witches and wizards. I automatically knew that she attended a wizardry school.

I walked over and she smiled at me "Hello" she said, placing her book on her lap

"Hi. I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" I said putting my hands in my pockets. My stomach had butterflies. She was gorgeous

"I'm Julia, Julia Diggory" She stood up and put her hand out for me to shake. I shook her hand and we walked around the park getting to know each other. She had the most beautiful laugh I had ever heard in my life. She listened to me when I spoke, but she didn't just listen to me, she heard me. It was the best thing ever. We said goodbye going our separate ways and there was an emptiness in my stomach where the butterflies had been before.

When I got home I went straight up to my room. It had been a few weeks but my house elf gave a letter from Julia Duggory. I opened it immediately. She told me it wasn't that hard to find one of the richest families in the wizarding world.

We continued to write letters to each other for months, meeting each other at the park at nights to talk and look at the stars.

One day my mother had gotten a hold of a scrap letter I would have sent if I wasn't such a coward. It said how I had really fallen in love with her. Her charm, carisma... Her beauty. When she told me she read the scrap at dinner I placed my head on my arms resting on the table, flushed with embarrassment.

She said that it was a beautiful letter and that I should send it. The worst part about it is my father didn't say a single thing the entire evening. That night I couldn't sleep. I decided I would send her a letter meeting at the park.

When I got there I was shaking, not from the cold but from nerves. I saw her walk up to me. I told her how I felt she looked at me with a smile and kissed me on the cheek which made me blush red and she told me she had felt the same way for a while but didn't know how to tell me. After that night we felt we needed to date.

When I got home I saw my mother at the dining table drinking tea. She looked at me confused, probably because I had snuck out, but I didn't care. I rushed over to her and hugged her tight. She was shocked by the sudden action. After I had hugged her I told her what had happened. When I was done explaining everything she gave a smile when she saw me with an excited smile. She gave me a hug and said that she was very happy for me and wanted to meet her immediately. I agreed to that. And that's how I met Julia.
