I start to open my eyes and see Hermione, Luna, And Ginny looking over me
"Hello Julia. Did you have a good beauty sleep?" Luna asks as I get up
"I assume I did if I slept here the whole night"
"Ok she's up so let's see the dresses"

"Oh my Merlin you two look amazing. Who are you going with?" I ask
"I'm going with Neville and Ginny's going with Dean." Luna says as Ginny looks down at her dress and blushes
"It's a shame your friends ended their Hogwarts trip, we could have done this with more people" Hermione says looking a bit upset.
"they wish they could be here and they send their love. They'll write letters."
"Well that's splendid. Now we need to get out of these before the boys see us" Ginny says rushing back to the bathroom.

"Julia! Julia!" I turn to see Cedric running up to me in the cafeteria
"Did you hear she said yes! Cho said yes!" He said practically jumping up and down
"yes I heard. Why didn't you ask Harry though?" He sat down
"I don't think I'm his... type" he said with a soft look. I place my hand on his shoulder "it's ok. Cho's nice"
"you know her?"
"Of course I know her Ced, she's in my bloody house for crying out loud" he laughs then get up
"so word has it you're going with George huh? That's cool, he's nice."
I give a small laugh before saying "we are just friends Ced and besides I don't think we like each other in that way."
He shrugs his shoulders then his face lights up
"oh I also came here to tell you my parents aren't home for the holiday and I'm having a party with a few friends. Care to join?"
It takes a few seconds to process how that would work then I nod my head
"great. We are going to have so much fun. See you tomorrow!" He says running back out the door
"Can we come too" I jump and turn to see the twins behind me. They laugh and I playfully shove them while holding in laughter
"I swear you boy are gonna be the death of me one of these days"
"Aw we're sorry do you need a hug?" Fred steps out of the way as I look confused as George picks my up over his shoulder
"ah I swear to Merlin put me down you bafon"
"oh I'm a bafon down eh" he says putting me down
"well it got you to put me down didn't it" I say proudly. We start to laugh when Fred's eyes wander off behind me then slowly George's as well I start to turn before George rushes to turn me toward him
"hey are you up for wizards chess? Ron loves it. We should talk to him shouldn't we Fred?" "Yes we shall"
they pulled me away from the great hall and into the gryffindor common room
"and checkmate. Again"
"NO rematch now"
"Ron this is the fourth time you've asked me to do this. I'm tired and I want to go to bed"
''how did I lose? Please just one more game no one else is up at this hour"
"yeah and neither should I"
"wait can I ask you this before you leave?"
"Ugh fine what" he takes a moment of silence then says
"are you still dating malfoy?"
"Yes"
"why"
"none of your business"
"it's not my business it's Oliver's" he quickly slaps his hand over his mouth
"I should not have said that"
"wait what?!"
"Um heh?" He gives a forced laugh before running up to his dorm.
I start to run to his dorm but think it's not worth it, probably a prank from the twins.
I start to walk to my common room before I see a familiar face
"Draco! Hey what are you doing here"
"Looking for you, I don't want you talking to Oliver."
"What do you mean?"
"I just don't want you talking to him. I'll see you at the dance."
He starts to walk to his common room before I grab his arm and pull him towards me
"you can't just say that then walk away, I need an explanation"
"he likes you Julia! How blind are you?!"
"That doesn't matter, I don't like him in that way"
"are you sure?"
"Yes."
He pulls me into a kiss and he walks away back to his common room.
Tomorrow is the ball and I'm going to have fun.
