Chapter 29 - tea

HERMIONE POV

"Ok thank you." Oliver said walking out of Professor Mcgonagall's office

"she wants you"

"I have a test in a little bit oli-"

He gave me a look and I sighed and went in her room

"Hello Proffeser!"

"Hello hermione. How are you today?"

"Lets all just get on with it shall we it was 30 minutes before the ball......

"Where is it!?" Julia said, running around her room where we were all getting ready.

"Where is what Julie?" Luna said putting in her crystal earrings Ginny had lent her

"My necklace. I took it off before we started to take a shower and it's gone!" She said, still searching everywhere for it.

"Well what did it look like" Ginny asked, closing her lip gloss.

"I wear it everyday," she said. She sounded panicky

"we will find it when we clean up ok darling?" I said rubbing her shoulders which calmed her down a little bit.

We didn't end up finding it. I hope it's ok though.

When we were done getting ready we went down. Oh you should have seen the look on her face when Viktor took me down to the dance floor we spent the majority of the time dancing.

She was being a lot more excited and happy. But I realize now that she was drunk and then I went to go get something to eat and I sat down at the table near the food area.

I could hear this couple behind me acting all creepy and weird. I didn't want to turn around and make a scene so I stayed out but then I heard something

"oi. Parker! Get your bloody hands off her!" I turn and see Oliver walking up to Parker Parkinson and I get a closer look at who he's with and it's Julia!

Oliver pulls her away from him but Parker grabs her waist and tries to pull her into him but before he can say anything,

Oliver punches him right in the face and takes Julia and Luna to the common room.

I try to run up with them but they are walking very fast so I decide to turn back around and spend the night as I can.

OLIVER POV (this is when Oliver was in there with Mcgonagall but you had to hear hermione's pov to understand this part)

(Right where we left off but from Oliver's POV)

I was walking sort of fast to get her back to her common room.

My brothers have been drunk before and they've always handed themselves but I've never handled a drunk person so I brought Luna.

She's just really smart that's why.

And is a ravenclaw so she knows the password.

We went inside and she was stumbling over everything. I tried to stand her up straight but it wasn't working so I sat her on the couch.

She pulled me down on top of her and put her finger to my lips "shhh" she said drunkenly.

I stood up and went to the kitchen area to make some tea while Luna was attending the fireplace.

"You know oli?" I heard Julia say from the couch

"yes?" I say pouring the water in the pot

"you are so hot"

I lost my balance and accidentally spilled some water on to the counter

"I- you- wha-"

"no but have you seen yourself in the mirror like ugh" she said sleepy

"I'm going to leave now have fun Oliver." Luna says as she stands up and walks away to her room.

While I wait for the water to boil I see her shivering. Why are the towers so cold? I take off my jacket and wrap it around her and she slowly stops shivering. She sits up and looks at me then she runs away to the nearest bathroom.

I get confused then realize- *barfing noises*

I want to stay on the couch but I go into the bathroom and bending next to where she is in front of the toilet I pull a stray hair behind her ear.

she looks at me and smiles I walk over behind her and take her hair in my hands and tie it back with a spare hair tie I see lying on the counter.

I go back to the kitchen to finish the tea and get her paper towels.

When I go back into the bathroom she is sitting up straight and looking up with her eyes closed

"I'm so sorry" I rush down to her and take her hands in mine

"hey. No no no no no. You have nothing to be sorry for. You just weren't thinking straight, you didn't have control over yourself-"

she takes the paper towels and wipes her mouth and flushes it down the toilet.

Then she walks up to her room and brings back a toothbrush and toothpaste and starts to brush her teeth right in front of me and cups the water in her hands and puts in in her mouth and gargles in before spitting it back out she does that again and turns off the water then she grabs my shirt and kisses me passionately

I stumble back and she lets go of my shirt "what the fuck?!" I shout

"ok I'm sorry you need sleep"

"no I need you"

"oh my Merlin what the fuck"

I walk her up to her dorm and say goodnight and go to my dorm and sleep. And that's it
