Chapter Twenty-Four

Few months have passed now and today at 3:00am firdausi delivered a bouncing baby boy.

Umma and the rest of the family were extremely happy because this is their first grandson and umma's favourite son's baby.

Imran named him after his father mahmoud.

Even though imran now has the plan of marrying khair in his head he didn't show or tell anyone about it's because one his advisor and best friend is not with him, two he cannot tell umma because she won't take this matter lightly with him and it's not fair on firdausi because it's only been a year after their marriage. And he himself is well aware that it's too early for him to get married again but what can he do, he don't want a random person to come out of the blue and claim her because she's his and will always be.

Those few reasons are the only things holding him back right now and honestly speaking he misses mukthar alot because every single decision he took in his life no matter how small it is mukthar is the first person to know before anyone else because he's more close to him than his parents and siblings not that he doesn't share things with umma and ahmad but they're somethings which only mukthar knows how to advise him.

On ummu's part, nabeel's elders came for the formal introduction.

He's now been granted the permission to start coming for zance.

The wedding will take place when she finish her studies but for now the date hasn't been fixed.

We're back to ruquayya now and the breaking news is her kayan lefe that was brought was stolen from the house by thieves that visited them at night.

They demanded for money but couldn't get any so they took all the valuable and expensive contents of the kayan lefe including the suitcases, the car he gifted her two months ago and other petty petty items which includes her phone.

(Basheer's car wasn't stolen because it wasn't there as he left her at the garage with the mechanic because it was faulty).

They filed a case in the police station but nothing was found, neither the thieves nor the car talkless of the clothes.

She didn't even benefit from anything in the kayan lefe instead she lost her belongings along with that because when she later checked, she saw that the clothes she brought with her from her father's house which are also expensive with the one's she sow from the kayan lefe were all taken along.

And now they're planning on moving back to a new house because they think this present house of theirs isn't safe for them.

With all these events that took place haj hajara's mind isn't on her daughter now because she's put all her attention on khair and looking for ways to get rid of her because for some reason the hatred she has for her has now intensified.

She's now on the mission to see she disgrace and taunt khair by making her malam do something so that she can't get married now and all this started when ummu's formal introduction was made.

In her own thinking she want to do this so that she can keep mocking khair and taunting her of her situation which I see won't benefit her or she won't gain anything from it.

She said that she will use this as a punishment on khair to avenge the pain she went through before and after hamida's marriage to alhaji.

With all the malams and bokas she went to so that the marriage will be stopped hamida dares to step her foot into the house and after her death she thought khair will leave the house but no she stayed behind.

(One hidden fact about haj hajara is she hates to see someone that isn't her family come to their house talkless of staying there forever that's why she hates Alhaji's relatives because whenever they come to their house they tend to spend weeks without going back and what annoys her the most is that she can't do anything because she's tried to separate him from his family but it didn't went well).

So her daughter will have to pay the price for her deads because no one has ever messed with her and she forgives that person, infact the word forgiveness doesn't exist in her dictionary.

She never forgives nor forgets.

She didn't stop at that, she also went ahead to check if the boy who wants to marry ummu is wealthy.

She was very happy when malam told her he isn't very rich because in her ignorant mind she thought that none of the daughters of this family has/will marry a man as wealthy as ruquayya's husband is, not knowing that money isn't marriage.

Since after firdausi's delivery, Imran has come back home because she has went to her parents house for zaman wanka.

Every single day he makes khair cook for him, infact she became his personal cook because in his words he doesn't like the food cooked by the maids that's why before he got married whenever he's home umma cooks for him.

(Since the first day he asked ummu to cook indomie noodles for him khair cooked it by ummu's insistance and he enjoyed it, he always asks her to cook for him because he later found out from ummu that she wasn't the one who cooked it as he asked her to prepare jolof rice the following day and she did but it wasn't tasty as tasty as khair's. Now for the past 25 days he's staying at home she cooks all his three square meals which lead to umma complaining that he's troubling her because sometimes immediately she comes back from school she head to cook for him).
