☆Gibbs x reader☆

Request: Gibbs breaks up with reader and then reader moves on and Gibbs tries to get them back

You couldn't believe it

You both were arguing

It wasn't like your regular arguments where you both make up

In retrospect you don't know what started it

"Well fine, if you want me to leave I will!" You screamed while chucking the nearest object at his head

"Thats fine with me! Its not like I loved you anyways" He shouted and you felt a pain in your stomach

There was silence

You felt your eyes water but you'd rather not let him see you cry

"Whatever Jethro" you mumbled while grabbing your things and slamming the door

It had been months since the incident and you've been living with your friend who encouraged you to move on.

Meanwhile Jethro wasn't doing too good at work. He was very snappy than usual. Even with Abby.

Your friend tried to set you up with some guy who honestly was very sweet towards you.

'Maybe (Y/F/N) is right. I should move on'

You went on a few dates with the guy and you felt better about yourself

One day when you were with your "boyfriend" you ran into Abby

"Hey (Y/N).. How are you?"

"I'm good, here I'd like you to meet someone. Abby this is (Y/BF/N)"

He waved and smiled and Abby tried to smile at him

"I'm gonna get the car okay babe?" Your boyfriend said and he walked away

"(Y/N)..." Abby said once your boyfriend was out of earshot

"Abby, please. You don't have to tell me.."

"I know... but Gibbs is miserable without you... he misses you"

"Abby-" but then your boyfriend pulled up

"Just think about it" she sadly smiled and walked away.

During the car ride, you thought hard about Gibbs

You missed him

He missed you

Fast forward again, brought to you by my terrible writing skills

It was raining, your boyfriend was out with his friends and you were all alone when you heard a knock at the door

You looked through the peephole

It was Gibbs

Sighing you opened the door

"Yes..?"

"Can we talk?" He said

"...okay just make it quick my boyfriend will be home" you let him in

He sighed at hearing your words but walked in

He wasn't going to admit, but he was jealous

"We need to talk"

"Look Jethro.. I know how you feel about (420 words) apologizes..."

"A sign of weakness.. I know but i shouldn't have said those things to you"

You couldn't take it anymore, you missed him

So you kissed him

Jethro was surprised, but he didn't pull away

"I missed that" he said after you pulled away from him

"Me too"

You grinned at him

"I love you Jethro"

"I love you (Y/N)"
