Rumi giggled at her two new friends as they bickered on her small balcony. They had just finished the first wood, and still had 45 minutes to spare before they left. Rumi had rolled a couple of joints for the party so she wanted to save a wood for the three of them when they got back.

The boys were high as hell, and so was she. She was used to being high however, so she mostly just sat there and giggled as they joked on each other and people she didn't even know. She picked up the second wood, "I'm sparking this y'all."

Melo looked over at her and deadpanned, "I just know you're high."

"Pothead ass," Josh added as they laughed making her giggle again. She sparked it before blowing it out towards them, "And what about it?"

Melo was surprised by how quiet she was high. He figured she would have a lot to say like she did sober. Her ass could talk.

"So Rumi, tell us about Washington," he said as she passed him the wood, being nosey. In Rumi's opinion, Melo looked extremely attractive, his light blue durag complimenting his casual outfit. His long finger held the wood, the gold bracelets glittering as he hit it.

Josh chimed, "Yeah, who is you Rumi."

She laughed and said, "What do you want to know?"

The boys looked at each other and Melo asked first, "What do you do for fun?"

Rumi smiled, looking off into the distance, thinking of her life in Ellensburg.

"We explore all the time. We'll roll up a handful of joints and literally just adventure into the woods. It's amazing what you'll find out there. We skate around and swim in random lakes. We kind of act like nomads when we got out," she chuckled, thinking of how many times they nearly got lost.

"Y'all just go into the woods for fun?" Josh asked curiously, coughing as he hit the wood. Melo understood, however. Nature was beautiful and everything was unique, there was always something to see. He sort of wished he had that life. Away from the cameras and expectations.

"Yeah. We dance out there, draw, get high. Every once in awhile we do shrooms and just chill out in the sun all day in our favorite spot," Rumi's tone was reminiscent. Josh passed the wood to her and she took a deep inhale.

"You got a boyfriend?" Josh asked suddenly.

Rumi tried not to let her face fall but they both noticed. She took another hit and passed it, staying silent as she zoned out, thinking about her ex Kizer. Melo watched her brown eyes that were outlined in black unfocus then focus again. She sighed, "Nah. Not anymore."

"Why not?" Melo prodded as he took his hits. She shrugged, "It's a long story. I'll tell you guys one day but we should be leaving soon. It's 9:45."

Josh and Melo jumped up excitedly, ready to get drunk and have fun. Rumi was nervous, but she figured if their friends were as cool as them she would be fine. Rumi put everything she would need in her small, white, fuzzy purse and then led the boys downstairs and out of the house.

They were taking Melo's car, which to her amazement was a Lamborghini. She gasped, "Melo what the fuck! You have a fucking Lambo?"

Melo smirked cockily as he tossed her the keys, "You better not crash it."

They climbed in the car as Rumi soaked in the expensive interior. She smiled at him as she pushed it to start, "Don't worry sweetheart, I'm a good driver."
