Calum

It was the night before our appearance on The Tonight Show. Jaden was in our room taking a shower before bed, and I was in the boy's room having a talk with them.

"You nervous?" Ashton asked as he looked up at me.

"Yeah, a little. I can't believe Jimmy agreed." I sighed as I laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Don't worry," Michael said as he placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "You know it's supposed to be this way. It's always been you guys."

"Yeah, and we'll all be right behind you for support." Luke smiled at me.

I nodded at the boys, agreeing with their words on encouragement. "Yeah, you guys are right. I just can't believe it's really happening."

"Yeah, seems like you've been trying to get her forever. Now's finally the time." Luke nodded.

I sighed and sat up, opening the small box that was in my hands. I looked down at the metal band that shimmered in the light.

It was finally the time.

Jaden

Most of the day had gone by already. We were all chilling out since tonight was the boy's appearance on The Tonight Show. Calum explained to me that he got my a front seat in the live audience. I thought it was super cool.

The boys were dressed in their usual attire. Skinny jeans, t-shirts, leather jackets, button ups, the usual. I decided to dress a little cuter. I wore red fit and flare pants as it accentuated my bum, and paired the pants with a loose, cropped black cardigan. I put on ankle boots to finish the look.

After getting ready, I met the boys in the lobby.

"Woah, Jaden you look so good in red." Ashton commented as I walked up to them.

"Those pants fit you really well." Luke said as he looked me up and down.

"Hey!" Calum exclaimed as he moved to stand behind me. "Eyes up here. Let's go." He huffed. We all got into cabs and were on our way to Rockefeller Center.

The boys headed back stage when we got there, and I was escorted to my seat at the front of the live audience. The show had started a few minutes after I got there, and I watched as Jimmy Fallon's sat before me. He began talking about current world events and turned them into jokes. He went along with comedy sketches that I was familiar with, and I found myself laughing the entire time.

After about forty minutes into the show, Jimmy finally introduced the boys.

"You're all familiar with Australia?" Jimmy asked.

The audience responded with applause.

"These boys just released their fifth studio album, and they're on tour right now. Here with us tonight, we have Five Seconds of Summer!" He yelled. The audience roared. I applauded as loud as I could.

I watched as they walked onto the set, waving as they took their seats in front of Jimmy's desk.

"Hey Jimmy," Ashton commented.

"Welcome guys! So how are you liking the tour so far? Is New York treating you well?" He asked.

"Oh well, we love touring. Especially in America, the fans here are amazing." Luke said, taking on the question.

"And we love New York. Because of you, Jimmy." Michael jokes. The audience laughed in response.

"I understand touring is really long. What do you guys miss the most about being in Australia?" Jimmy asked.
