Chapter 34 - Start the party

As both of them parted from the kiss, Ram looked at her teary eyes. He slowly wiped off the tears from her eyes and kissed them one by one.

"It'll be fine Priya" he said resting his forehead on hers.

Both of them closed their eyes, feeling each others touch, and silence, which spoke a thousand words.

Hand in hand, one hand holding her lehenga, one entwined with his fingers, his left hand entwined with hers and his right  catching her right on her waist, both of them came downstairs slowly, as the soft tune played in the background.

The crowd gathered to welcome them, greetings, handshakes, and hugs, it wasnt a reception, just a small party to get started with.

Not much dignitaries were present as it was a party meant for exclusive friends and relatives.

Dadi was there with Krishna ma, munching on her favourite savouries. Ram and Priya rushed to hug her and took blessings from her. They had missed her so much.

"Teek ho na dadi aap?" Priya asked hugging her even after Ram left her.

"Bilkul teek Hu Priya" Dadi said as she kept her hand on Priya's head giving her blessings.

"Itna kyoo kaa rahi ho aap? You know allowed Nahi hai na!" Ram asked eyeing at her plate.

"Thume sunayi Nahi Diya? Meine Bola na am perfectly fine!" Dadi said laughing and hugging Ram.

Before anyone could speak, Vikram came in and interrupted, "Sorry dadi, I need to talk to Ram for a minute" he said as he took Ram along with him.

"Kyaa hua Vikram?" Ram asked.

He kept quiet thoroughout the journey from taking Ram from dadi to moving to a secluded corner.

"Ho kyaa Gaya! What are you doing!" Ram asked.

Vikram turned left and right to see whether someone was there and then, he wiped off the small lipstick mark from Ram's face with his kerchief.

"Ab teek hai!" He said grinning at his friend.

"Thum ye sab kyoon notice Kartha hai?" Ram asked shying away. "Kuch aur Nahi dhiktha na thujhe"

"Abe mote, meine dhekkar teek Kara dhiya tha, thank you bolna hai thujhe par thum daant Raha hai mujhe!" Vikram said laughing at his shyness.

"Teek se set up Karke aana agla time se or ask Priya to use kiss proof lipsticks, abhi Neha ko do theen kareeda meine, tips dhe saktha hu" he said raising his collar.

"Chup Kar" Ram said hitting his friend on his shoulders. "Arre vo dheko Rishab bula Raha hai" Vikram said and they both marched towards him.

"Baad mei batha dhena" Ram whispered.

"What?" Vikram asked.

"Kiss proof lipsticks! Will get Priya some!" Ram said chuckling as both of them let out a hefty laugh.

"Hope days are good?" Neha asked surprising Priya, by hugging her from the side.

"So far so good" Priya said smiling at her and hugging her back.

"Lagtha hai bahuth Kuch ho Raha hai? Why do you seem to be so stressed? Want to say something?" Neha asked.

Priya looked to her left and right and took Neha to a corner and explained to her everything about Rajat and Vinishaa.
