Chapter 13 - Tangled stories

Priya was relaxing on her bed reading her favourite novel.
At all days she will be waiting to read the book. But today it was different.
She read it to divert her mind from thinking about him.
Yes. It's all about him. The Ram Kapoor.

What was normally wrong with him?
Why was he doing like this?
Where is he now?
Why is he being so adamant?

All these questions were running on her mind parallel to her inducing herself to read the book. And concentrate only on the book.

"Shut up Priya" she scolded herself.
She got up from her bed put down her clip from her hair and also the book she had.
Her hair swayed.
She took them and sidelined all the curvy hairs falling on her face and put cross her shoulder. Her jhumkas tingled badly.

"Gosh!" She scolded herself looking at herself in the mirror.
"Why the hell do you care about him!?" She scolded again badly.

She was about to hit the mirror with her hand as she got a call from an unknown number. She took it.

"Is this Priya?" A lady asked.
"Yes it is" Priya said. "May I know who you are?" She asked.

"We are calling from Ladens hospital. Mr. Ram Kapoor had an accident. Can you please come here to do the formalities?" They asked.

"What? What happened to him?" She asked.
"We want you to come here ma'am. Please!?" She said again.

"I'll be there in 2 minutes" she said.

She left just like that getting grip on the clip and tying her hair the same time reaching for the keys.

"Kaka Mr. Kapoor had an accident. Am going there. Please take care!" She said to bansi kaka who asked her to take a driver to which she denied.

"This man!!..... now I don't know what happened to him!!" She kept blabbering the way she reached the hospital.

"Am Priya. Where is Mr. Kapoor?" She asked the reception
"You mean Mr. Ram Kapoor ma'am? He's been taken to the emergency."
"What happened to him!?" She asked.
"Accident ma'am. He needs emergent treatment!" She said
"Start it." Priya shouted
"Talk to the doctor ma'am!" She said.

"God damn!" Priya scolded

And she rushed to the doctor!
"Doctor please help me. What happened to him?" She pleaded.
"Ma'am who are you? Please fill up the forms!" He said.

She cursed her fate! They have not revealed to the world that they have been married. It's all because of her. Now he's not well. And she can't help him, being his wife.

"Sir please trust me am his wife!" She pleaded.
"Ma'am....come here and fill this up!" The nurse ushered her.

She filled everything. At last when it came to who signed it, she saw three options
Parent/Guardian/Partner.

She striked both parent and guardian and signed "Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor"
She looked at Priya.

Priya was crying and her kajal had smudged completely. Tears rolling from her eyes, she looked at all of them helplessly.

"Am Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor. Please trust me" she said.

"She is" a voice came.
Everybody looked towards their direction. A old lady of late forties came in.
"She is indeed Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor"
