Chapter 2 - Meeting each other

The next day, Priya was woken up by shrills of Shipra Ma.
"Priya wake up beta. It's already late.".
Priya woke up and saw the time. It was 8:00am. Shit!!! She screamed and got ready to office. She also skipped her breakfast. She reached her office by 9:00.

"Good Priya. You reach by 10." Her boss made fun of her.
Everyone were silent. They knew Priya well. She wasn't that kind of girl who delays wantedly.
"Am sorry sir" Priya murmured without arguing and blaming things for her mistakes.

"Good. Now go to Kapoor industries and get me our new merger document." Her boss shouted.
She left the office in a jiffy, leaving all her belongings on her office table except her purse and her mobile.

"Kapoor Industries!" She thought.
It belonged to Mr. Ram Kapoor.

She called for an auto rickshaw and bargained him to leave her at the Kapoor Industry office for a minimum wage.
She tried calling Rajat but it was busy.
So she thought he might be in a work and texted him, "Baby, am enroute to your office. See you soon". And she looked out.

This was winter. There were beautiful flowers and chill winds.
This is life. She thought.
And what's this merger thing suddenly? Are we working under Kapoor industries? She thought.

An idea struck her, and she called Neha her best friend at office.
"Neha... Sunna.... Ye kyaa merger hai?" She asked.
"Hush Priya. Baahar aa rahi hu" Neha told her and Priya heard Neha saying "excuse me" to someone.
"Kyaa hai" Neha asked.
"What's this merger Neha!?" Priya said.
"Yes. Suddenly,there is a marriage between The Kapoor and the Agarwal families. And they decided to merge their business too. Ram kapoor's brother is getting married to Vinay Agarwal's sister." Neha said.
"Oooh. That's cool. Are we invited!?" Priya asked.
"Only the higher level authorities will be invited. After all, we are just general managers." Neha said sadly.
"What is there to be sad in this Neha!?" Priya asked.
"There will be lot of hotties and rich young businessmen. Agar correct kar Diya tho life settled hai! Kaash!" She said.
Priya nudged her and said,
"Believe in god and love Neha. Our life is the way the universe wants us to live." Priya spoke maturedly.
"You keep it with you. I need to live my life" Neha snickered at her.
Priya remained silent. Understanding Priya's silence, Neha said "You come VA n fast. Let's do something. I have a plan".
Priya smiled and cut the call agreeing to what Neha said.

By that time she reached Kapoor Industries.
She went to the reception and enquires about the document.
The receptionist enrouted her to the manager.
The manager believing her to be some great higher authority, showed her all the various departments in the Kapoor Industries as they are merging. He felt proud of his Office's infrastructure.
When Priya enquired on Rajat, the manager told that he was on leave that day.

Without no further questions, Priya simply gazed at the beautiful arrangement of all the departments.

On someone calling him, the manager leaves the place leaving Priya alone.
Priya looks at a simple lady who is trying to do her work. She was carrying a lot of files and was about to stumble when Priya caught hold of those files and helped her do her work.

Ram, was taking a stroll at his office. He saw Priya working with immense sincerity. He liked Priya by the look of her. What do they term it as? Love at first sight? But then to Ram, he never believed in love. He just thought that Priya was a Beautiful lady of values.

Ram wanted to enquire more on her. He went near her and tapped gently on her shoulder. She turned.
"May I know your name Ms.?" He asked Patiently.
"I am Ms.Priya Sharma" Priya replied after two minutes of utter silence.
He couldn't believer her eyes. The most generous and the caring boss of her was standing in front of her. He appreciated her sincerity and her perfection as he had noticed only she didn't care whether he took strolls or not. She was fully observed unlike others. Others did work only as a duty and only on his arrival they pretend they do it their best. But Priya was something different.

"You're working as?" Ram enquired.
"I work as the executive general manager in Agarwal Industries" Priya completed after starring at him for a minute.
"Oh you're here for the merger documents?" He asked.
"Yes" Priya nodded.
"Why are you working here then? Didn't they give you the documents?" Ram asked.
Priya nodded a no.

Ram was so angry now. Like what did they think of his state of respect!? They made a merger company employee work at his office and that too because someone in his office didn't know how to do things!! It was an utter humiliation.

He called the manager and gave him so many hearings. He then ordered him to give the documents to Priya.
And with a stomp he left to his cabin.

Priya asked whether she could talk to him. Though they didn't agree at the beginning, they allowed her to meet him as she was being adamant.

Before going inside the cabin, she knocked it and asked, " Excuse me Sir"
To which she heard a vague "Come in".

She went inside and Ram saw her. He was feeling very bad to have spoilt his first impression. Before he could speak,Priya said "You're my boss too sir. We've merged. Which means Kapoors and Agarwals are one. Employees of our office are employees of your office too." She continued. "I just helped my co employee sir. I didn't feel humiliated nor did my respect on you decrease a bit. I honour you so much for your concern on your employees and their family. I have admired you so much for your skills sir. Please don't think that my respect on you have decreased. Infact it has increased a bit today. You never used any harsh words on the manager though he did a mistake. You were as a boss, correcting him and teaching him manners. I have been inspired, I still inspire and I know i will inspire you in my future."

Saying this she left the office.

Ram thought of how great she thinks of him. He felt good for a moment. Nobody in his own office has told him these bravely. Everyone were afraid of his position but this lady broke all borders. She managed to capture his attention on her. First of all , she is beautiful and now he came to know that she had brains. She was beauty with brains. There was now a soft corner on his heart on her.

He was thinking a lot on this when an idea struck his mind. He called The MD of Agarwal Industries.
"Hello Ram" Rajesh Agarwal, father of Vinay Greeted.
"Good morning Ji. I just wanted to ask you something. You're employee just got the merger document from me. Sorry couldn't meet you personally as you're not in the state" ram apologised.
"It's ok beta. The manager right? She got it from you?" He asked.
"Yes. And I wanted to ask something."
"Yes yes I heard that. Tell me Ram" He asked.
"Can I know more about her?" Ram asked.
"About whom?" Asked Rajesh.
"Ms.Sharma" Ram said.

Ok so they finally met.
