Chapter 33 - Accusations and understandings

Priya relaxed a bit feeling the coldness and opened her eyes to find Ram sucking her finger.

They share a deep eyelock. There were lots of questions and answers to be solved, but heart, knows, whom it belongs to. Soulmates, they are! 

"Thum teek ho?" Ram asked her with panic in his voice.

She nodded a yes and carefully took out her finger from his mouth.

Realising what he has done, his awkwardness grew to an other extent.

"Dhyaan Kahan hai thumari?" He asked trying to ease out the tension in the atmosphere.

Priya looked deep in his eyes, understanding and capturing the concern in his voice and the fear he had when she had let out a shrill.

"Am perfectly okay now Mr Kapoor" she said. "Vo actually...." She started to find excuses.

"Bhabhi mumma bula Rahe hai!" Vinishaa came in the same extent, saving Priya and she left the room immediately to meet Krishna ma, excusing herself.

Once Priya left, Vinishaa looked at Ram and smiled.

"We need to talk" Ram said as he took Vinishaa to a room.

"Bhai please I know what am doing! So what if I behave that way?" Vinishaa was literally raging at Ram. "I don't care what people talk about me.  Let the dogs bark!"

"You mean to say you don't even care about the family? And your calling them dogs?"  Ram asked her.

"Is love marriage allowed only to you and Rishab Bhai in this house? And yes am calling them dogs. What is their problem if I do something in my life. Why should they poke their noses in my life? " She stormed back, leaving Ram to be shocked.

She never uses these kinds of words especially, like this. Seeing his little sister talk so harshly really pisses him off, and more then pissing him off, he was hell shocked.

He tried to calm himself down, to compose himself and figure out how he would explain her what she didn't know.

After few minutes of silence, Vinishaa finally spoke, "I love him and I will marry him" Vinishaa said.

This was the worst nightmare he had ever seen. The thing which he didn't want to hear was the first thing she said. He decided to answer her.

"Keep in mind, he's an employee Vini! I let him in this house cause you brought him along with you as your friend" Ram said.

"Employee? Really? The same employee whom The great Mr Ram Kapoor loved and married?" Vinishaa asked.

"I'll give you one slap Vini. Why are you involving Priya in this? Anyway, as you have taken her in, lemme clear some things to you.  Priya was not an employee, she was one of the most important persons in the board. And Vini, am not saying that am against love marriages. You can love. It's a beautiful feeling. Trust me usse Accha koyi aur feeling Nahi hai Vini. But love a proper person. That is more important.  And, Rajat is not one" Ram said gritting his teeth.

"Just because he's your wife's ex lover?" Vinishaa asked. "that is why you can't tolerate him?" She asked without thinking for a second.

Ram raised his hand to slap her. Controlling himself, he left the room, banging the door shut with a heavy push.

The worst nightmare he had ever seen has become real. The way she spoke to him, her tone, kept ringing in his head. She was never this. He closed his eyes in frustration.

He thought of all this as he sat on his chair in the study.  Just then Karan Kaka entered with a cup of coffee.

"Ye leejiye" he said.
