Chapter 7 - Bloom Bloom Past

Those sweet two months.

Ram and Priya spent very awkward days at the start. Maybe because they weren't used to it. Because they weren't known to each other.
But Neha and Vikram made it easier for them. Neha made Priya understand that Ram was not rude at all though Priya knew that. She persuaded Priya to talk to him and make him understand her ability.

And here Vikram managed to convince Ram that Priya was a nice girl and not like any other lady in the city. She was a simple yet dignified woman.

Vikram and Neha wanted Ram and Priya to be best friends. Because they wanted to spend some time together. Selfish were they?

The day after the success party. The day after the merger success party.
It was Priya's first day as a new designator.

"Come on everybody. Work on the project. I need this done today. I don't want any excuses" the immediate subordinate of Priya was huffing and puffing.

"Excuse me" Priya shouted for everyone to look at her.
"Hi. Am Ms. Priya Sharma, the new superior. I will be reporting directly to the MD. I don't know how you guys were working till now but from now on we need efficiency. I can see that there are workers from both Kapoor and Agarwal Industries. I need you guys to cooperate and coordinate among yourselves and make this happen. Try getting me guys, I want no delays and no red tapisms" she finished.
After a little pause, she broke the silence, "I may sound rude. But this is how any person in this designation should be. Please try to understand. For further doubts, contact me" she said "this is my secretary Neha. She'll be working with me. Contact her for my appointment with any other persons but you guys that is the workers are free to meet me at any time. I would want pure professionalism in everyone's work. Get that in your heads and start working. Come on" She said snapping her fingers.

Everybody understood that they cannot be the same as they were before. That is, finishing off works at the last date and all. Because now they are left with no option but to finish daily targets. And they don't regret Priya being their boss. Who knows? Someone else could not even have the courtesy to tell them their existing position.

"Good morning Madam" Neha said
"Neha please. Atleast you call me Priya. I am feeling very awkward now" Priya said after reaching to their cabin. Their private space.
"Come on Neha. It's kinda tough for me. I can't be like bossing over people who bossed me in a day. Am trying" she continued.
"I know Priya. Am just teasing you" she said.
"Please yaar. Am already he'll scared. You know na. Who the hell I report to?" She asked Neha believing Neha would change the name.
"I know. It's THE RAM KAPOOR. The lifeline of this company. Your favourite boss" Neha said not forgetting any of the taglines.

"As if these things are important" Priya said disgusted.
"See. Priya. This is your schedule. Start your work. Stop worrying about things. You've been given this post because they think you deserve it and you've got the guts to do it." Neha convinced her.
"Yeah. Right." Priya said motivated. "Let's get to work"

Till evening 5 they worked non stop. Priya worked non stop. Neha took a break or two to check on Vikram but Priya was focused fully on work.
By some 5:10 pm, Neha checked on Priya.
"Yaaar. Having a bad headache." She complained.
"Of course. Someone is so much focused on work that they skip lunch too. Priya have you lost it? You've completed a whole weeks work." Neha said.
"I know. I want to bring this company to the number 1 rank. Goal" she said.
"You're impossible" Neha gritted and asked her for a coffee.

There even Ram was very busy. He was with the same determination as Priya was. He had come to her office now and was shouting "hey yaar. This seems to be the main office. I need to look on the finances which I will be able to do well if am here. Kavin, change my cabin here." Ram ordered.
